Biriyani
Biriyani is a mixed rice dish popular among Indian subcontinent Muslims. It's made with Indian spices, rice, and either meat, eggs, or vegetables like potatoes. Biryani is one of the most popular dishes in South Asia, as well as among the region's diaspora. The dish, which originated in Persia and was introduced to India by Mughal rulers, is both a delight to eat and a challenge for chefs to prepare. Every grain of rice in a perfect pot of biryani is separate, yet infused with aromas of various spices and paired with meat or vegetables.
