Summary:
Enid doesn’t get it. Her crush on Ajax started back at the start of the year when he first smiled at her. And even though their first date was a complete and utter disaster, they made up. He and Enid were even official. The thing is…it still felt weird being with him.
“Hey”, Ajax walks up to her and grabs her hand. “Hi,” she said, waving a little.
What Enid gets even less is how despite all of this, Wednesday is the only thing on her mind. It had been a week since that moment, and she still can’t stop thinking about her. About their hug, about how her breath seemed to deepen, and her arms melted into her shoulders.
