Navigating Ao3′s Search Functions

Hey folks! Archive of Our Own is a godsend for fandom and fic readers and writers alike, and today we’re gonna learn how to use its search functions. Last year ao3 added some great new features that make searching for fic a million times easier, and in turn, make our lives building this catalog and finding recs easier as well. 

However, it doesn’t do much good for anyone when we get repeat asks for such simple things as “bottom Shiro” or “general aus”. This is going to breakdown how you can find these works yourself in less than two minutes, leaving us more time to devote to building rec lists and hunting down that fic for a multi-chapter arranged marriage Blade of Marmora au.
