The unique and long-awaited, Gerard Depardieu !

I who is used to criticize celebrities, I who doesn't like any of them, I who is maybe jealous, will I finally like, with surprise, this very controversial actor, Gerard Depardieu ?

It's probably useless to present him but Gérard Depardieu is a 69 years old French actor. Famous from the 70's with the movie "Les Valseuses", he has acted in movies of prestigious French directors such as François Truffaut and Jean-Luc Godard. He's very good in the films of authors as in the popular comedies. He has starred in a few Hollywood movies like "L'homme au masque de fer", for example. In short he has played in more than 200 films and is the second French actor to have accumulated the most entries in France, behind Louis de Funès. He won several awards including two Cesar for Best Actor and an Oscar nomination. He's an excellent actor, surely one of the best French and few people can claim the opposite.

As far as private life is concerned, Gerard Depardieu is less exemplary. He has no less than 5 relationships with different women between 1970 and 2005, some of them at the same time. He's the father of actors Guillaume and Julie Depardieu and two other less famous children. We will say that privacy doesn't concern us and we can't judge a celebrity with that informations but it will allow us to make a softer transition between this nice article start and the more delicate end.

Before, we can also highlight the fact that Gerard Depardieu really love life,as evidenced by the documentary "A pleine dent" broadcast on arte, and sometimes celebrities don't show that, so it's a good point for him ! Here is the trailer :

He likes to eat and doesn't pay attention to his silhouette. He also consumes a lot of alcohol. We forgive him even if it doesn't make him a good example.

But when we talk about an example, maybe that's where there is a real problem.

Gerard Depardieu, a young committed left man who even supported the Communist Party in 1993, but who gradually turned to the right, stronger and stronger right, from Sarkozy to Poutine in Russia because he was paying too much tax in France, according to him. Today Depardieu even has Russian nationality, he regularly appears alongside Vladimir Putin and says a lot of good thing of him as if it were Rosa Parks. I will not go into detail on the subject of taxes or Poutine. I find Depardieu's choices unjustifiable and shameful. In my opinion, a public figure must be irreproachable in relation to the image he gives, especially to the young public, and in no case, he can be a good celebrity, for these reasons !!!

Mélanie Laurent : Mrs. egocentrism

Actress, director, mistress of ceremony, singer, Melanie Laurent really has all the talents. We can still wonder if this is a whim of a spoiled child or a real talent in all registers.

Mélanie Laurent is a very famous actress, director and French singer. She is now 35 and already has a very long career. She is notably known to have played in the movies "Inglorious Basterds" directed by Quentin Tarentino, "Insaisissable" by Louis Leterrier and "je vais bien, ne t'en fais pas" by Philippe Lioret for which she received the Cesar for best woman hope in 2007. We were talking about talent and as far as her job of actress is concerned, we can't say that she is bad even if she isn't still appreciated by everyone.

Starting in 2008, she began to make short films. Engaged to the defense of the environment, she co-directed with Cyril Dion the documentary film "Demain" which won the Cesar for the best documentary film in 2016. Again, we can't say that Melanie Laurent is a bad director although I'm not a fan of her latest movie "Plongée" with Gilles Lelouche in 2017.

She has received more than a dozen awards throughout her career which makes her a person recognized as competent in the field of cinema.

As for her singing talent, I am more skeptical. It was in 2011 that Mélanie Laurent decided, probably as a result of overconfidence and ego, to release an album, "En attendant" which, despite much advertising, will sell only 7200 copies. Indeed the songs are absolutely horrible. You can make your own opinion with one of her singles :

This anecdote is probably the one that best demonstrates the enormous egocentricity of this person. An internet user on Youtube, decided to make a compilation of interview excerpt, mainly in French, where Mélanie Laurent is very modest :

With a video like this and according to the theory of the extreme egocentrism of celebrities, I can hardly determine Melanie Laurent differently than as a bad celebrity. With 30 years more she would make a beautiful pair with our beloved Thierry Ardisson.

Thierry Ardisson : Mr. antipathy

One day Ardisson criticizes Alessandra Sublet, the other day, Frederic Beigbeder, then more recently the comedian and former columnist of his show, Stéphane Guillon. Who is this TV man who hates everyone and does he have good reasons for that ?

Thierry Ardisson is a very famous TV host and producer. He is now 69 years old. during his long career he has animated, among other things, the famous programs "double jeu", "tout le monde en parle" and today "Salut les terriens" and "Les terriens du dimanche".

I will be clear with you, I hate Thierry Ardisson and I don't need to push the investigation too far to understand it. I will still present, as an oral presentation at school, a few points that show that Thierry Ardisson is a bad celebrity :

1) As I mentioned in the introduction, Ardisson criticizes everyone on television and often violently as evidenced by the photo above.

Here is a non exhaustive list of the many targets of this man: Alessandra Sublet, TV host Stephane Guillon, Humorist, TV columnist Frederic Beigbeder, Writer Jean Michel Apathie, Political journalist Robert Menard, a bastard, mayor of Beziers (actually he can clash him !) Bruno Masure, journalist And many others …

At this level we hold the record of hate on television. It should be noted that Ardisson criticizes people from very different backgrounds.

2) In addition, Thierry Ardisson speaks a lot about him, loves himself a lot, surely like a lot of people on television but in this case it's really extreme. I invite you to watch any interview of him, it's amazing

3) For having conducted a most thorough investigation internally, Thierry Ardisson would be hateful with his teams, contemptuous, insulting, even going as far as threats of dismissal his employees

4) A little like Yann Moix but much worse, Ardisson has a total misunderstanding of youth and what works for young people. Often his interviews of rappers or youtubeurs are strongly criticized as for example this one of the famous French youtubeur Squeezie :

5) Finally, it's enough to watch a program of this person to see that he has no empathy, that he is contemptuous, unpleasant and deeply bad.

Yes Ardisson is a bad celebrity and nothing will change my mind.

Marina Foïs, Toper or really funny girl?

Before reading this article, watch this video where Marina Foïs drink many Vodka shooters without really having any trouble, with Laurent Laffite her partner in the movie "Papa ou Maman ?" :

What's interesting in this video is the long monologue she's doing at the 23:10 minute. After drinking more than 20 shooters of alcohol during the show, she's giving the best speech I ever heard in my life. She doesn't seem to talk at all under the influence of alcohol. It's this extract that asked me about the possible alcoholism of Marina Foïs, that would justify her humor obviously recognized by everyone. Is it normal to be as lucid after 20 Vodka shooters or does it mean that she’s used to consuming alcohol?

I then write on the google search engine the words “Marina Foïs” and “Alcohol”. I discovered with stupor several images of this person with a glass of alcohol, a bottle in hand, in a bar ...

I even discovered a video clip with her that defend the consummation of alcohol as below :

It's starting to make a lot of evidence about her alcoholism. For those who don't know much about Marina Fois here is a brief biography :

She is 48 years old, she's French. It's thanks to her former babysitter that Marina began on a career as actress. She founded in 1996 with her comrades the group "Robins des Bois". Their show is spotted by Dominique Farrugia. They started to do TV skit on Comédie + and then on Canal +. It was in 1994 that Marina got her first movie role in Gérard Jugnot's film, "Blue Helmet". Her filmography is mainly marked by comedies; "Astérix and Obélix: mission Cleopatre", "RRRrrr !!!" with the Robins des Bois group, "Papa ou Maman" ... She also played, from 2007, in some dramatic films or police,with including 2 nominations for the ceremony of the Cesar in France.

It's on the side of private life that we will find another proof of her alcoholism. Marina Fois gave birth of two children, Lazare and Georges with the director Eric Lartigau. It's obvious that only alcohol can allow someone to give Lazare and Georges as name to his children. I believe that this proof is enough

To summarize, of course Marina Fois is very funny. Maybe it's because of the alcohol. Alcohol or not she is and will remain a Good Celebrity !

Vincent Bolloré : Is he as bad as we would like to believe ?

Vincent Bolloré, what a great project to tackle the French media king without any fear for his safety. But we can ask ourselves if Bolloré is so bad that we would like to believe it?

Vincent Bolloré is a very well known French businessman. He is well know for his important activity in the media. He's at the head of the Vivendi group and was at the head of the Canal + group until recently. A longer biography of this man is important to understand this character.

His fortune is estimated at 7.3 billion euros, making him the tenth French fortune. He was appointed in 1975, at only 23 years old, as director junior of the Rothschild financial company, which is allied with the Bolloré family. Already, he has the typical path of someone who has succeeded in business thanks to his parents.

His family is at the origin of a large international group, mainly in the transport sector, since 1861. His career is worthy of this kind of businessman. He began managing some business of his family and it's in 2000 that he began his involvement in the media, something that interests us the most.

Vivendi acquires the Havas group, which produces advertising, documentaries and TV shows but also newspapers like Direct Matin. In 2012 he became the majority shareholder of the Vivendi group, he became one of the most powerful men in France at the same time.

In September 2015 he became the head of the group Canal Plus to redress the finances of the channel. A very good idea since Canal Plus was at a loss, it was necessary to do something to save the group. Finally, at the heart of many polemics, he will succeed in destroying what we called "Canal Plus spirit" while the number of subscriptions always drops.

At the end of July 2015, Vincent Bolloré personally banned the broadcast by Canal + of the documentary "Tax evasion" planned in "Special Investigation" because friends of him are concerned by the investigation. Many actual and former journalists of the group still admit to undergoing terrible pressure from the businessman who wants to totally control his image.

There are far too many scandals around Bolloré and I don't want to talk for hours about this man. Even more recently he has been involved for a corruption case concerning the port activities of the Bolloré group in Africa.

Finally nothing suggests that this billionaire could be Good and I don't want to talk about him more than that. I think this man is deeply hateful and we don't need theorem to prove it. Vincent Bolloré is definitely a Bad Celebrity.

Virginie Efira : Too beautiful to be Good ?

Virginie Efira is a belgian actress who has taken part in several notable French films. Before being an actress she started as a TV host in Belgium and then in France in 2003 after being spotted by the M6 television channel.

It’s in 2006 that she becomes more and more famous by replacing Benjamin Castaldi for the original French program "La nouvelle star". In 2008 she signed for the group Canal + and in 2010 she declared in Paris Match that she want to stop her TV host function.

This is the first part of Virginie Efira's biography and we will analyze it together to try to determine if the first female celebrity analyzed on this blog is Good or Bad.

Firstly, it's very important to note that Virginie Efira is Belgian. I love Belgians people, they are nice, simple, so less complex than the French. I would be tempted to stop this article now and say that, because of its Belgian origin, Virginia Efira can only be a Good Celebrity. Unfortunately it would be too easy and I wouldnt have a good grade in my English evaluation while I clearly merit an average of 20/20 (will understand who wants).

The second part of this first part (😮) of the biography teaches us two things. On the one hand Virginie Efira was the host of the television show "La nouvelle star" and this show looks like reality TV. For me the host of reality shows are necessarily Bad celebrity, but in this case, Virginie Efira was young. It's hard to blame someone, early in their career, for doing bad things. Moreover, if we think about it, she replaced Benjamin Castaldi and that's a good thing !

On the second hand we learn that she did interviews in Paris Match (people press) while the best celebrities are often the most discreet. Speaking of Paris Match, let's quickly talk about the private life of Efira. Virginie Efira has been involved in short-term relationships since 2000. She met this year, Patrick Ridermont, they get married in 2002 and separate in 2005. It's also only in 2009 with humor that the latter will request administrative formalization of the situation as shown in the following video for the readers who speak French.

In 2012 she became engaged with the director Mabrouk El Mechri with whom she gave birth to a little girl in 2013 and separated shortly thereafter.

Finally at the beginning of this year she meets a young actor, Niels Schneider, who is 10 years younger than him.

All this shows us a tormented private life, worthy of the biggest Bad Celebrity but we can't blame anyone for never having met the love of his life. The day she will meet me, that will surely change !

Now let's talk about his film career. She take part of Phillipe Lefebvre's film "Le sifflement" in 2010 with her first important role. It was in 2011 that she knew her first success with her role in Dominique Farrugia's film "L'amour c'est mieux à deux" It's in 2016 that she will start playing more dramatic roles. She will start with "Et ta soeur?" of Marion Vernoux and then "Un homme à la hauteur" with the first target of this blog, Jean Dujardin. She also played in the hit movies "Elle" with Isabelle Huppert and "Victoria". For the last one she has taken part of the main role and was nominated for the "Cesar" of the best actress.

Finally a film career rather good and evolving better and better, there is nothing more to say.

To conclude I can see only one verdict : she is Belgian, she never really made scandal so we can say that it's a Good celebrity.

And above all, she is very very beautiful !

Yann Moix : The wicked sniper TV ?

              Yann Moix is an important personality of the French television. Either we love it or we hate him. He is well know for his performances in Laurent Ruquier's Saturday night TV show "On n'est pas couché". Writer, director and now, TV columnist, Yann Moix is my target of the day.

Before being a columnist on French television, Yann Moix was a well-known writer and director. He was born in 1968 in Nevers. In 1996 he published his first novel "Jubilation vers le ciel", which won the prestigious Goncourt award of the first novel. After this success, he wrote many books. It was in 2004 that his career turned a corner. He made his first film "Podium", adaptation of his own novel, with as main actor the great Benoit Poelvoorde. This first film was a big success with five nominations to Cesar. In 2009, Yann Moix made a second film "Cineman" which, in opposition to the previous one, is a real failure. It's sometimes considered as the worst French comedy of all time. Since then, he is often present on television. In 2015, he was recruited by Laurent Ruquier as a columnist on the program "On n'est pas couché". For this analysis we will mainly use the theory of "controversy". But first we will start with his investment for important causes since he is often present on the media. Yann Moix has visited the migrant camps in Calais, in the north of France, several times. He filmed many images proving the bad treatment of these humans by the policemen and especially the French state. He used his presence in the media to highlight these major problems. Here there is nothing more to add on this sequence. Kassovitz defends an important subject that is food waste. Yann moix blame the form of the fight of Kassovitz but in no case the substance. He didn't deserve such violence from Kassovitz.

4) Yann Moix VS Benabar

In this case Yann Moix criticizes Benabar. Benabar is as bad actor as singer, Moix has the right to criticize him. (okay it's a fake but it's my blog I do what I want)

5) Yann Moix VS Jean François Copé

Yann Moix has all the rights against a politician who got only 0.3% of the vote for the election of the right wing candidate for the 2017 french presidential elections.

So, According to the theory of "controversy", with a ratio of one bad polemic out of five, Yann Moix is a Good Celebrity !

Jean Dujardin : Good or Bad ?

                 Jean Dujardin, French charismatic actor, recognized all around the world for his talent, winner of the Oscar for best actor in 2012 for his performance in the film "The Artist" directed by Michel Hazanavicius, appeared in France with the TV series "un gars une fille "in the early 2000s, is he a generous, a kind, an authentic celebrity as we would like to believe?

Jean Dujardin is undeniably an excellent actor and I couldn't say otherwise in this article. He was born in 1972 near Paris. He began his career writing comedies sketches with friends. Over time, they make themselves known with some appearances on television. But it's really from 1999, with the TV series "Un Gars / Une Fille" with the actress Alexandra Lamy who will become his wife, that Jean Dujardin will achieve the great success. After this series that ended in 2003, He started playing in cinema movies. After some failures, it's in 2004 that he will achieve the success in the cinema with the film "Brice de Nice" who is actually a character from his comedies sketches he wrote at the beginning of his career. The so-called "money-hungry actor" theory determines whether a celebrity is good or bad with the number of commercials it makes. Jean Dujardin has participated in many one, mainly for the famous brand of coffee "Nespresso" but also for the chain of fast food "quick". Here is the sad video:

I researched, on the web, the participation of Jean Dujardin for charities. All the greatest celebrities use their image for a good cause.The least we can say is that Jean Dujardin is discreet for that. We can note a participation in a gala to raise money for the association "des Cantines scolaires du Sahel" in 2014 and some visits to villages for underprivileged children of the association "mouvement pour les villages d'enfants".

We can possibly say that, humbly, he prefers to give to charities discreetly not to give the impression that he would do that only to give himself a good image.

But all the same, shouldn't he use his image to talk about sensitive subjects? Shoulsn't he take part on some important topics? The debate is open. All this is troubling but unfortunately it's not enough to prove if Jean Dujardin is Good or Bad.

It's by delving into his private life that we will find an extremely important element.

Jean Dujardin lives today with the ice skater Nathalie Péchalat. He lived before with his partner in the series "Un Gars Une Fille", Alexandra Lamy (photo). The couple separated in 2013. It is from this break that we found the missing element of our difficult investigation.

The majority of media rumors tended to say that his separation was due to the change in Jean Dujardin's behavior after winning the Oscar.This reward would have made him take big headed. Good Celebrity / Bad Celebrety : Outstanding investigations !

            During this beautiful month of March 2018, the Tumblr platform saw the birth of a new blog, on its website, that achieve unanimity .

This blog is the blog "Good Celebrity / Bad Celebrity". The blog defines itself as "the biggest investigative blog to date". The concept is simple, every article published will deal with the case of a famous public figure of the audiovisual world, and the purpose of the investigation will be to determine whether this celebrity is a good person or someone bad.

To carry out these investigations, the great team of journalist of the blog will look for evidence in audiovisual archives, interviews or simply on the many available biographies of these celebrities.

For example, according to the so-called "of the indignity" law, if the article brings several video excerpts or interviews where TV host Arthur explains that he doesn't earn enough money in France because of taxes, it’s why he prefers to benefit of Belgian tax gain,  we can deduce that this TV host is a bad celebrity.

On the other hand if the article shows that Stromae preferred to stop his career to write songs for others artists because he loves people, then we can say that it's a good celebrity.
