Good Omens season 3/finale thought of the day:

What are the chances that Crowley and Aziraphale will actually have any kind of impact on stopping the Second Coming? Like in season 1 they didn’t really do much in the end to stop the apocalypse. It basically came down to Adam rejecting Satan and Newt fucking up the computers. Obviously their little pep talk with Adam in the show did help things a little, but in the book they don’t even get that far.

So do you think Crowley and Aziraphale’s actions will actively prevent the second coming, or will the action just kind of happen around them again? Love to hear everyone’s theories on this one!

Ineffable Husbands, happy together 🖤🤍

„C‘mere, silly angel!“ Crowley grumbled and pulled Aziraphale in a hug that included arms and legs fully wrapped around Aziraphale‘s body, so there was no chance of escape. The joy over the tiny squealing noise the angel gave off should be illegal. No one, especially not a vicious demon like Crowley, should be so pleased with a noise like this. But he was. He indulged it. As his face snuggled into the soft curve of the angel‘s neck, he heard a sigh of defeat and he grinned devilishly.

Oh, what a good demon he was.

„Are you gonna hold on like this for long, my dearest?“

‚My dearest‘. It still felt off to be adressed like this. It shouldn’t feel so good, but it did. The demon hummed in satisfaction as the angel gave in into the touch and leaned his head against Crowley's temple.

"That's quite nice of you to-"

"'m not nice. Don't even know what this word means"

Aziraphale huffed in amusement, wriggled on of his arms free and put his hand on the side of Crowley's face, directly over the tiny snake tattoo that started to tickle in excitement.

"As you say so, darling"

Another pet name. If he had less control over his body, he'd probably blush.

"Grm"

"If you don't mind, I put some water on the boil for a nice cup of tea. So if you let go, this would be very demonic of you", the angel squirmed after some moments of embracing in silence. A little grumble escaped the demon's throat as he lifted his head. Oh, the smug idiot. Aziraphale looked at him like the hundreds of times he tried to politely send the demon away if he got one of 'the really good ones'-book he wanted to read.

Instead of letting go, Crowley rolled his eyes and pressed his lips against the angels soft cheek, lingered in the motion as long as possible, listening to his angel’s silly giggle about the sudden affection. He was happy. He really was.

Everything was like it always had to be.

How has no one called the yellow feather duster out yet?

How in the Freddy Mercury has no one yet pointed out that the yellow feather duster moment is a huge shoutout to one of the most Good Omens coded Queen songs of all time: I Want To Break Free.

I can't unsee it. This is now Gabriel's fight song. He's fallen in love for the first time and needs to break free. Just check out these lyrics if you've never heard it...

Good Omens S3 director speculations

Hiya Shems! :)

In the last few days there have been a few suspicious things on social media regarding S3 - but bear in mind that nothing has been officialy said ;) :)

The Good Omens HQ and Terry Pratchett Estate account started rebloging posts from Rachel Talalay on twitter and bluesky.

There are photos from Edinburgh zoo.

A month ago Rachel Talalay posted that she is going for a few months filming in which her name has not been announced yet.

So, we know that she is in Edinburgh, for a few months filming, and GO HQ and TP account are suspiciously reblogging her posts. 🧐 :)

Who is Rachel Talalay? - She is an american director and producer who also worked on british shows such as Doctor Who and Sherlock.

Her and David while working on DW :).

So... yeah. :) Let's wait for the official announcement, but the clues are leading this way :)),

The Wrong Way To Right

Perhaps I was wrong.

As Crowley’s clever tongue licks and presses, expertly moving, caressing along soft folds as he simply seeks pleasure, Aziraphale wonders if he was too quick to judge. 

Sometimes the angle changes or he uses his teeth and oh my, if that isn’t something. The tilt of his head, the crimson of Crowley’s hair catching the light as he chases what he desires, uninhibited and unapologetic. And yet, it is also surprising, the tenderness and joy it seems to bring him. 

Perhaps I was wrong.

And when their eyes meet Crowley pauses, their gazes linger and Aziraphale watches the way his Adam’s apple bobs as he swallows enthusiastically and licks the remnants from his lips. Crowley really does look pleased.

“Angel, you good?”

“Oh yes, quite.”

But he’s not. Aziraphale wants it too. He made a mistake, he can’t have Crowley know that, but he fears it’s too late.

“Nah, something’s up. What is it?”

“It’s… it’s nothing, really.”

Crowley’s eyebrow creeps up, steadily and knowingly and the corner of his mouth soon follows. Aziraphale knows he’s been caught out.

“You wish you got the cone with a flake, don’t you?”

“No! I—”

“You dooooo. Go on, just admit it. It’s better than the ice lolly.”

“Ok, fine. Perhaps I was wrong.”

There, he admitted it. If he simply focuses on the ground he won’t have to endure the smug grin undoubtedly unfurling across Crowley’s face. He will never let him hear the end of this. 

But Aziraphale is suddenly struck by the sweet scent of vanilla and an ice cream hovering just under his nose, flake only centimeters from his cheek. His head snaps up and he finds Crowley, arm outstretched, looking at him without even the suggestion of smugness on his face. He beckons for Aziraphale to take the cone.

“I’ve had enough anyway.”

Aziraphale can’t help the wiggle that permeates through him as he takes the offering. Crowley simply nods, stuffs his hands in his pockets and swivels to look into the distance, as though none of it meant anything at all.

Perhaps, Aziraphale thinks, being wrong isn’t so bad.

so it’s canon that crowley can make himself really really tiny so what if during one of the big important second coming meetings in heaven aziraphale puts a hand in his pocket and feels crowley there and then has to act normal as if nothing out of the ordinary is happening
