sooo profound and beautiful that i made an effort last night to put on full glam in the hopes of making people feel even just a little bit disrespectful and guilty for deadnaming/misgendering me after not seeing me for 2 1/2 years, and surprisingly enough the most supportive person (besides my brother and gay cousin) was actually the big harley-davidson-hat-and-leather-jacket-wearing, mustached, beer-holding n smoker-voiced dude who has been my dad’s gf’s bestie for 40+ odd years <3
