I don’t think yall understand how fucking unstoppable Jinx and Ekko are. Put the two of them in a room together and they created a miniature version of Hextech within, like, a month give or take. Jayce had a rune on the hextech crystal to build the entire foundation of his creations off of, meanwhile Ekko gathered shards of nothing that were used 7 years ago.

Also, the fact that Piltover would have completely lost the battle if it weren’t for the two of them convincing the undercity to attack while also creating a a fucking hot air balloon-wind turbine-pirate ship thing in a days work.

Mind blowing.

They had to be enemies or else there would be no Arcane to watch

I am a bit disappointed Ambessa will likely never learn how easily Jinx makes Hextech weapons and she was stuck dealing with Piltovan scientists getting themselves blown up, for no ‘reason.’

two things i find particularly touching about jinx and isha so far:

1. as far as we're aware isha appears to be non-verbal and jinx doesn't question it. she adapts. she talks to the kid without expecting a response. she doesn't remark it. we're aware powder was the odd kid out for other reasons. judging from the glances and gestures during the sevika v. smeech fight jinx seems to instinctively know how to communicate with this random odd kid and it's just quite lovely.

2. isha very clearly sees jinx as the coolest person on the planet, which is fair since jinx saved her ass from that gang. but as the audience we're familiar with jinx and we've been familiar with powder and we're aware she's never been the cool kid in any possible circumstance. to see her admired like that feels very, very heartwarming.

and importantly, neither of these things is particularly remarked upon: they just happen. it feels so very natural and real.

“you just want the narrative spoon-fed to you!” if wanting to know why a character who saw her parents murdered by enforcers and was locked in a prison cell during years of fundamental development would join the enforcers and have sex in a prison cell with her enforcer girlfriend with very little conflict over any of these decisions being shown then yeah i guess i do want it spoon-fed

Favorite character but not my favorite piece, so it goes

can i just say i would’ve wanted this over the caitvi sex scene

or i would’ve given up about half that scene for a sliver of this

this is not me saying i don’t like caitvi or favoring timebomb over them; i have liked caitvi much longer, preferred it over like every other ship in the show for a good long while (fixating on timebomb, so i wouldn’t say i do currently)

but… i mean, a moment between them supposedly so intimate and close — showing what happened with them between the scene he stops her from setting off the bomb and their entrance into battle, vs a sex scene that felt more like fan service than anything? vi being locked in a jail cell after her sister practically tells her “hey i’m gonna go off myself you just stick right here”, seeing her sister depressed in the corner of the same cell, not eating or moving or doing much of anything other than harming herself (and literally being so at risk of suicide they took anything she could possibly do it with, but we won’t get into that) — would you be having sex in that same cell?

i mean, i liked the scene, from a romantic and emotional and intimate and blah blah blah standpoint

but there’s literally no explanation to how they got all dressed up and turned jinx’s hideout airborne, not even like a minute long montage
