WOE! WILD KRATTS OC BE UPON YE
yes they are kind of a self insert but allow me this
Meet Penelope!
They're a newer Wild Kratts kid, though older than the median, and live in Western North America.
They're named after Penelope from the Odyssey, and despite preferring to watch from the sidelines, they provide a lot of context of animals from a folktale and mythological standpoint, knowing a lot about animals and how they're viewed throughout history!
They're also a bit of an artist, and really enjoys making character designs and outfits based on animals and folklore.

Telemachus has two motifs; one that is his actual motif and one that is a false one
His first motif is what I like to call the “false motif”. It’s the one Odysseus sings in ‘the horse and the infant’ after the whole “what do you live for what do you die for” part (“Penelope and Telemachus”). This motif only appears when Odysseus is singing it (which he does a couple of times throughout the musical), never anywhere else in the musical (which is a huge contrast from Penelope’s motif which is introduced at the same time. It appears everywhere in the music and not just when Odysseus sings it). Because the “false motif” appears so early on we think that it’s Telemachus’ actual motif, but it’s not! His “true motif” is the “I wanna be legendary!” melody from ‘legendary’. We hear it constantly when Telemachus is singing or being introduced (for example in ‘Odysseus’, and the ending of ‘we’ll be fine’ and in some other instances as well). However, Odysseus hasn’t met his son in twenty years so he’s never heard Telemachus’ “true motif”, which is why he never sings it. He made up an entirely new motif for his son because he doesn’t know him :(
