My friend from Singapore said he was lucky enough to get his autograph on this in-store event and talked a bit or two with him! According to him, Sugizo said that he missed Singaporean dishes (he had during Asia Tour 2013) so much, it might sounds like a hidden clue but we didn't know yet.

‪Sugizo at yesterday’s talk and autograph session in HMV & BOOKS TOKYO. He announced the release of a new album which is currently in the works. Half of the songs are completed. The album is set to be released next year in time for his 20th anniversary as a solo artist.‬

Lately he's been attending forums with pop culture topics as a speaker, I'm currently preparing a thesis regarding to it and I regret why I'm not living in Japan yet?

What Sugizo discussed in those forums might be useful for my study because it came from a person who isn't just an entertainment worker, but also a socio-political observer. Little did people know that he's quite capable in socio-political issues (numerous of participation as campaigner in many municipal election, Syrian refugees visit, Tohoku earthquake volunteering, his tweet about the president-elect's effect, anyone?).

So maybe, from Sugizo's topics, I can get a two-side perspective of usage of the pop culture as a soft power in Cool Japan movement to approach international relationship with other countries.
