imagine being loved like michael b was loved. every child should absolutely be showered with love, yes, but this kid was loved like a beacon. this kid was looked to as the one good thing to hold onto, to protect at all costs. this kid who survived a kidnapping and a world that killed his parents and still looks at life with stars in his eyes. this child that you would die for, kill for, sink low to preserve his innocence. this kid was the hope of two parents who knew the darkness of the world and wanted him to grow up to be simply happy. imagine being loved like that, in the midst of so much darkness.
