With a hand running through her hair, she quickly dropped the phone from her ear and hung up on whomever was still talking to her. “Fuck,” she stated underneath her breath, trying to think about what she was going to do next.

Even though Valentina and Elliot weren’t close, he could see how upset she was after speaking into the phone so he decided to approach her. “Hey Val, are you doin’ alright? Is there anything I can help you with?”

        “That’s not going to get you into my panties,” Vivian brushed off the nasty remark thrown at her by some guy as she was sitting on a bench waiting impatiently for her Uber to arrive. “Moron,” Vivian was not a fan of costume parties, but she loved parties so if wearing a costume was necessary, then she’d do it. Clenching her phone in her hands, her eyes glued to the Uber app, she heard footsteps approaching her. “Here we go again,” she said loud enough for the person to hear her.

Elliot had just got done with a business meeting for his bar and he spotted a beautiful blonde woman sitting by herself on a bench. Hearing her remark as he approached, he smirked a little bit but licked his lips before speaking. “I may be a stranger, but I also don’t want you to be attacked by more of those drunks around here who are only looking for one thing. Can I sit?” He asked with a soft tone of his voice.

“On a scale from one to ten, how familiar with these parts of town are you?” Amy asked the first person she saw, the urgency in her voice as vibrant as the searching look in her eyes — she was on a mission, and she really wanted to finish it today. “I’m looking for a fabric store. Doesn’t matter which one, any will do,” she explained, clutching her black sketchbook, samples of fabric sticking out here and there.

Elliot looked over at the woman who was speaking to him and he chuckled a bit. “I’m pretty familiar with these parts of town actually,” he said honestly, seeing that she was searching for something. “A fabric store, hm? Well, I know there’s one right here downtown just a few blocks away. Want me to walk you there?”

Aria couldn’t help but blush as she looked up at the blue eyed man in front of her. “Again, you’re very kind to the cray red haired girl that is crying and blubbering all over you. Very kind. Most people would think me insane and walk away.” She softly chuckled. She stuck her hand out, trying to calm herself down and let out a breath. “I’m Aria, by the way. Aria Lockwood. Who might you be, my knight in shining armor?” 

“Those people are assholes and don’t care, but fear not, I care and I’ll be here for you,” Elliot said with a smile as he was trying to cheer her up and it seemed to be working. Taking her hand in his own, he gave it a gentle shake. “Aria, it’s very nice to meet you. Of course I’m your knight in shining armor, but you can also call me Elliot.”

Clara laughed softly, “Something about casts does always seem to interest people.” she agreed, “Everyone does seem to become a middle-schooler around them but … that said, do you have any room left for me to sigh?”

“It’s only because the people feel sorry for the person wearing the cast,” Elliot said with a laugh but teasing voice. It was true though, many people did ask what happened after they signed it. “I’m sure there is room for you to sign, yeah. I’m Elliot by the way, don’t think we’ve met before.”

                         Archer prompted a light laugh, nodding his head. “Yeah, well, what better way is there to make friends, right?” He was joking too of course, and it felt kind of nice to be honest—- Archer needed it. “You too, Elliot.” He shook his hand back with a nod of his head. “Yeah, I was one of the lucky ones.”

“Obviously it’s the best way,” Elliot joked along with Archer laughing. It was nice to joke around with people during this time after the storm, all he wanted to do was make people smile. “Well, I’m happy for you, man. Where did you end up being stuck anyways?”

Charlie needed a night to just relax and forget about the busy workload she has had and had been having. So with that,she found herself at a bar, in hopes of cooling off. As the male approached her, she couldn’t hel but smile. Hearing his question, she thought for a second before answering. “How about you surprise me,” she said with a small laugh.

Elliot couldn’t help but smirk to the blonde woman’s answer and he nodded. “A delicious surprise coming right up,” he said before turning around and beginning to make her a drink. When he was done, he slid the glass over and smiled once again. “Try this out. I hope you like fruit,” he said as it was a fruity, delicious drink.

“Maybe we should go somewhere more private then,” She suggested, her smirk remained in tact as she spoke. This was just the buildup to what would happen next, pretending they had no realisation of where this could lead to when they both knew how tonight would end. Some careless flirtation never hurt anyone though, this was all just a part of the fun arrangement between them. “What time do you finish tonight?” She asked, because it wasn’t like she had anything else planned for the rest of the night anyway. “Oh god, that sounded painful. Trust me, I understand how you’re feeling right now. I’ve broken a fair share of bones in the past. I hope you feel better soon though, relaxing certainly will help.” She flashed a grin at him. “Me too, I suppose I can always trust you to turn my night into a better one.”

“Maybe we should because I know you’re going to like what I have in mind,” Elliot said as his bright eyes looked into her own, the smirk on his face matching hers. They both knew what they want to happen tonight so they were going to make it happen and flirting was just the start of it all. Of course with his cast things tonight would be difficult but Madeline is quite creative so they both knew that it is going to be fun. “I’m the boss so I can be finished in the next ten minutes or I can be finished now, depends on when you want to get out of here.” He said before turning his smirk into a smile. Madeline was someone who he could flirt with all day, but she was also someone who he could talk to about life all day as well and he liked that about them. “I’ve had a few broken bones in the past as well, but I never imagined this happening. Resting has been helpful so far but being patient with it is helping out the healing process,” he said with a nod. “You can always count on me, Madeline.” Looking around the bar for a moment, he saw people clearing out and knew that his employees could close up. “So, wanna get out of here?”

Noah nodded, “Yeah, I am too. I was really worried for a while, that people might be hurt a lot worse.” he admitted. The city might have taken a lot of damage, but at least it didn’t seem like they had lost any people. “Now I just have to focus on starting classes again. At least I was already working ahead on the reading.”

“Same here.” Elliot could only say for now as he didn’t want to talk about what happened during the storm and after anymore. “Oh yeah, school is coming up again for you all, huh? The best way to get through school is to work ahead and it seems that’s exactly what you’re doing. Good job.”

Hearing a familiar voice behind him, he turned to see Emmy approaching him and he couldn’t help but smirk. The last time he saw her they were laying naked in his bed back in New York City. His bright eyes ran over her body, noticing immediately how flattering the dress was on her and he licked his lips teasingly as his eyes met her own. “It’s good to see you, Emmy. You also know what you can say and do to make me happy, but I’m not that happy quite yet,” he teased with a playful wink. “How have you been?”

While getting around on crutches was tough, Elliot still had a smile on his face as he made his way around his bar, watching how his employees interacted with the people inside. Making his way to the bar, he began to clean up some dirty glasses and restock the food that was up front for people to pay for and eat. Looking around, his bright eyes was set on a beautiful blonde woman at the bar and he smiled. “Is there anything I can get you to drink?”

“You’re right there, a ton of people were drinking. That didn’t really help when things started to flood. Many people were too drunk to realize how much of a problem that really was.” Anthony replied, knowing things were a struggle once the water had started coming in. Luckily, some people were small enough to unplug all of the electronics and others were smart enough to try to stop as much of the water from coming in as possible. “I just want to be able to help. I got out of the situation incredibly lucky, so I might as well give back.” He added, shrugging slightly. Anthony just hoped that if he ever got into a tough spot that someone would return the favor for him. “Rome wasn’t built in a day, and neither with Atlanta be re-built in one.”

“Oh man, I can’t even image how that must’ve went down. I’m sure there had to be some people to help the drunks get out of there in time and not damage things more,” Elliot said with a shake of his head, thinking about how crazy that must’ve been. “It’s always great to give back because it’s very appreciated and you’ll get a lot of respect from it. Hell, I even respect you, man.” The two haven’t known each other for long but he knew that Anthony was for sure a great man. “You’re right about that, and people need to think like that too.”

Noah laughed softly, “Hey, I did say a master, not the master. I wasn’t claiming the title solely for myself.” he pointed out with a small smile. He nodded at the words, “She’ll be okay, I mean, she did hurt her ankle, but I was able to get her warmed up, so she’s alright.

“Fair enough, fair enough,” Elliot said with a laugh as Noah explained himself and what he was telling him. “I’m glad to hear she’s alright. It’s horrible to hear what people have gone through with the storm, but I also see most of them being positive about coming out alive and that’s all that matters.”
