What is Contractors All risk Insurance?
For Contractors this is the must have policy, it covers them for the entire risk and can also combine insurances into one policy.  To give you an example, if you are building a new extension for a client and there is a flood or even a fire breaks out then a standard public liability insurance policy wouldn’t cover you for this.  An all risk insurance policy would. This type of policy covers you for the price of the contract, period of time within the contract and your liabilities, tools and plant.
You can also have unlimited height cover within your policy. This is especially useful if you are working with asbestos removal/piling and ground works.
Contract Value of the Project
Insuring with a Contractors All Risk policy provides the very best protection and gives cover for the value of the contract. This can include loss or damage caused by insured perils. This is incredibly important if you are working on an extension, new house development, loft conversions or where the work is incomplete and is unable to be covered by standard buildings insurance.
Plant & Equipment
Contractors All Risk Insurance is provides the very best protection for owners and hirers of construction plant and equipment, it is designed to give you peace of mind and includes physical loss or damage to Construction Plant and equipment.
Public and Product liability Insurance
We can also extend Contractors All Risk Insurance to include public liability cover that will protect you from any liabilities from a Third Party’s (other than your employees) bodily injury or damage to their property that may occur during the normal operation of your business.
Employers Liability
Contractors All-Risk Insurance also provides employers liability (if required by you). If you employ anyone outside your immediate family, you are required by law to purchase Employers Liability insurance. Your Employers Liability Certificate of Insurance must be displayed in a prominent place within your business.
Your Contractors All Risk Insurance policy can be tailor-made to fit your requirements. This is why working with an Independent Insurance company is much better than trying to make an off the shelf policy work for your business.
