AU explanation; Dan and Spr33n did in fact, die, but funnily enough, while S went to heaven, Dan went to hell. Dan wasn't exactly a moral man, he was always just after entertainment without too much care about other people, so a lot of his experiments in the past lab, did cause some harm to others, aka why he went to hell. Dan and S got a chance to come back to Qu3s4dilla Island but only as an angel and demon, luckily enough that got to choose how they come back. S just comes back as a visible angel, he's got the wings and the halo. But Dan wants to cause some chaos, so he comes back as a child, and he excuses it as it was a little mess up on his 'side' [he never specifies to the other islanders where he went after he died]. Dan merely wanted to see how much he could get the other islanders to sin, and how far they'd go, so he thought this would be the best form.
