Bodyguard Seventeen reporting for duty series pt.1 -

The airport incident :

2020, Sara now 17 was at the airport along with the other members. Their flight was scheduled to depart for the US tour. Being half asleep she was close to falling down as her eyes remained droopy due to having been woken just minutes prior. The poor kid didn't even have the energy to smile or wave.

Mingyu held her close, standing beside her, holding her straight to keep her on her feet, a hoodie thrown hastily over her tank top which reached down to her knees mostly covering her mini skirt. The only clean thing in her wardrobe due to all her other clothes being already packed in suitcases.

They moved slowly. Being at the back of the line they took the brunt of the flashing lights .

"How much longer till the lounge?" Sara asked tiredly.

"As soon as we cross this crowd. So like five more minutes"

The facial recognition didn't work for Minghao so he sighs and walks back to the end of the line , a little behind the security guards which were almost none in number because Pledis couldn't bother to hire more for their artist's safety. He stood there, having a perfect view of Mingyu and Sara, keeping an eye on them in case something were to happen. And it did.

The pair were just standing with their back at the fans and some man slipped through the fan made barricade. It was a mid 20's looking man with a creepy smile. Hao instantly had a bad feeling so he tried to move forwards as fast as possible but what he saw made his blood boil. The man with his phone was aiming to take pictures of Sara under her skirt. And nobody noticed because of the crowd and screaming fans but he did. He pushed his way forwards in seconds, grabbed the mobile and smashed it on the floor.

That got everyone's attention. The atmosphere shifted. Sara was wide awake now and immediately moved to the center of the group with Hoshi and Wonwoo beside her , Jeonghan just behind her and the rest of the guys forming a protective circle around her to keep her away from that disgusting man.

Minghao, Mingyu , Scoups immediately went up to the security to make sure that man didn't get away and Coups even yelled at them about inadequate security and not doing their jobs properly.

While they talked angrily, the others had finally reached the elevator and got into it.

"It's okay. Don't cry," Jeonghan hugged Sara who was now terrified and disgusted.

Jun immediately got her a bottle of water to drink and calm down.

"You are safe now, it's okay," Joshua held her hand firmly.

They got her to calm down as the elevator doors opened to the airport lounge. The company had reserved a part of the lounge for Seventeen and made a beeline straight for that place.

After a while the other three members joined them as well. Minghao patted her head wanting to give her space while Mingyu sat beside her, handing her a fidget toy.

"What did security say?" Woozi asked.

"Did they catch him?" Seungkwan and Vernon asked at the same time.

"They caught him and we will make sure this doesn't happen again. I am sorry this happened kiddo, we should have been more careful," Seungcheol apologised.

"It's not your fault. Or anyone's" , Sara spoke up. "Don't blame yourself, things happen."

"No, these things shouldn't happen!" Wonwoo spoke up. "We need to make sure we have more security. This is a matter of safety and that is for everyone."

"I agree," Dino spoke up.

Scoups immediately got his phone out as he texted management about what had happened, demanding better security.

"Thanks guys," Sara said in a low voice as she focused on her fidget toy.

"Don't thank us kiddo," DK smiled at her, patting head.

For the rest of the journey and the tour they all kept her close to themselves, often alternating between members and being her personal security detail. Because nothing is scarier than big (Except Woozi) protective men who glare at anyone who looks at Sara for more than one second.

Dino, Vernon, Seungkwan, Joshua, DK = overly excited and way too invasive. Need every detail of their relationship. Probably even brainstormed to come up with ship names. Dispatch who? Seventeen has their own personal dispatch service, these guys! Went in disguise to spy on their dates. Sara caught them as they were running away giggling like high school boys. Tease her and Sunghoon all the time even at award shows.

Ni-ki (Enhypen) (rumoured) = only because they hung-out together a couple of times. Being close to age in the industry was rare and when these two crossed paths, they literally clicked in an instant. Him being 15 and her being 16 when they first met. That's when the rumours started as well. People didn't really take it seriously cause they were just kids but as they grew older the toxic fans began to target both of them. Management took action and now those two are allowed only to interact at award shows if necessary and if they can just go over to each other's living space and hang out in secret. Works just fine for them.

Dino (Seventeen) (rumoured) = the weirdest one as they were literally brother and sister . It was fun at first but then it got old real quick. The members teased them out of fun but as time went by the rumours died down as fans noticed that they strictly had a brother sister relationship.

Sunghoon (Enhypen) (rumoured) = the fans don't know but this is actually confirmed in secret. Members of their groups and management and their families know. He got so jealous and ticked off when dispatch reported the rumour about Sara and Niki. The sweetest boyfriend and even taught Sara ice skating. He takes her on cute little diy dates whenever they have breaks. Planning on moving in together after a few years. Probably when Sara turns 24.

Changbin (Stray Kids) (rumoured) = fans and dispatch were clearly reaching at this point. Like what do mean they are allegedly dating because Changbin handed her a water bottle at the mama awards and smiled at her in appreciation to hype her up before her performance. He is older than her and he was being generous?! They both had a laugh at that and probably became the starting point of their friendship.

8. The8 (Minghao)= (before debut) he joined seventeen at the same time as her. Both being the newbies , they often stuck together even though Sara had made a number of friends within the group. He adores her, she was this little human trying to act mature but failing miserably. He taught her how to dance step by step with a lot of patience and never got irritated by her. Sara loved being in his company, he was always so calm and knowledgeable and maintained his composure .

(after debut) = tea drinking besties. Part of the iron deficiency line, she prefers him when it gets too overwhelming being in a crowd of rowdy boys. Plus, he buys her Lego sets every month and makes a hotpot for her which she loves. Besties forever', a necklace that both of them wear as a souvenir of their friendship.

9. Mingyu = (before debut) he followed her around as well cause she reminded him of his sister . He always tried to keep her close to him and effectively hog her but that was kinda impossible so he settled on the fact that she would sleep beside him in those little camping tents in the practice room at night. He literally treated her like his own personal teddy bear. Frankly, Sara ate up all the attention that he gave her. She loved it.

(after debut) still follows her around, still babies her, protects her from crazy and creepy fans and paparazzi, her personal guard dog. Literally fought with scoups and Jeonghan to let her live with him and Wonwoo but mom and dad won't listen. One of the best relations in seventeen and he cooks for her too. Mingyu's special ramen service is open 24/7 for her. Sara gets tired of this hyperactive puppy but still adores him , always wished for a big brother like him and finally got it.

10. DK = (before debut) shy boy no. 2. He couldn't sing properly in front of a girl member. A hell lot of resentful and nervous but that resentment was out of curiosity and nervousness. Felt jealous that he got scolded by Hoshi Hyung but that girl never got scolded? Unfair!! They had a rocky start to their relationship. Sara avoided him too cause she felt nervous and scared around him. He looked sweet but was really grumpy.

(after debut) DK wants to go back in time and slap himself for even thinking such things. He is extremely grateful that she is in the group and couldn't imagine living without her daily giggles and smiles. He calls her his mini me cause she is just as bubbly and cheerful during concerts. She matches his freak but hides it well because of industry pressure but he constantly strives to bring out that part of her.

11. Seungkwan= (before debut) she got the sassy side eyes everyday. He was so doubtful of her and her potential contributions to the group. Why did Pledis decide to add a literal child to a full boy's group was beyond him. Ignored her and didn't speak to her unless necessary.

(after debut) her biggest cheerleader. She makes him readymade tea with teabags and hot water, he showers her with praises. She heats up a meal for him, showers her with praises. No matter how little the task is, he will shower her with praise. Maybe it's his guilty conscience eating at him for treating her badly back in the green room so now he makes sure nobody ever bullies her cause boo took lessons from Jeonghan on how to be mama bear. Sara loves the fact that he accepts her and adores her. That is all she had ever wanted.

12. Vernon= (before debut) chill guy. No worries but actually a bit excited to have another American on the team. He could finally rant in english to someone else other than Joshua. Could finally take her and go to the convenience stores to get snacks and found a partner in crime. Vernon adopted her as his little sister and taught her how to rap .

(after debut) still chill guy. Loves hanging out with Sara. Her and Sophia are like besties and they literally look like siblings. And they both are hip hop unit members so Vernon helps her with her raps . They still buy food and snacks and hide it from others as they eat it in secret in their rooms. And most importantly, they chat in memes.

13. Dino = (before debut) a bit envious that he would no longer be the Maknae and was jealous that his hyungs now had someone new to fuss over. And they fussed over her a lot. He got a bit upset at first but then she gave him a lot of snacks on one occasion and seeing her smile he melted. Maybe it would be good to have a little sister and then maybe his hyungs won't bully him anymore.

(after debut) besties. Iconic maknaes. He loves not being the youngest. He loves that she is his little sister and they always go shopping together in new cities. They both often take care of each other and protect the other from harm. They always hold hands together while walking and have silly competitions like who can eat the most amount of fried chicken in a minute.

1. Choi Seungcheol (Scoups) = (before debut) Sara was really scared of him. Like his aura, ooof! Intimidating! He was tall, angry looking and barked orders plus she walked into the practice room to witness cheol put Mingyu in a headlock. So her being scared was justified even though he literally melted on seeing her doe eyes and wanted to be the best big brother.

(after debut) Scoups was finally able to gain her trust and show her that he wasn't scary. He protected her, cooked for her, took her to places to explore the new country. Sara saw how nice he was to her and let go of that scary image she had of him. In due time they became best friends and she wasn't scared of him anymore.

2. Jeonghan= (before debut) the bunny boy, following her around, trying to get her to join in on his pranks and pouting if she said no. Sara was never pranked by him, he adores her too much to do that. She was his aegi and he teased her about it everyday. Protective brother number 2.

(after debut) Jeonghan always kept her close to him since she was the youngest and the industry is harsh and he wanted to shield her from all the monsters on the planet. Plus , she lives with him and cheol.

3. Joshua = (before debut) first day as soon as he heard she was also half Korean, he felt a mixture of happiness and relief. They bonded together the fastest. Jeonghan followed her around talking nonstop in Korean and Sara wasn't that fluent so Joshua always translated it for her. Her and Shua talked about their lives back in America, how and why she came here, changed companies and everything.

(after debut) my sister from another mother and my brother from another mother. That's the relationship. Joshua adores her, he watched her grow up from a shy but brilliant 12 year old to a matured 19 year old and even though he was way older than her, he still respected her and adored her.

4. Jun = (before debut) shy cat but also confused. Why were they adding a female member? He was a bit hesitant to warm up to her and neither of them could speak each other's language so it was even more difficult to bond.

(after debut) best friends. Bonded over their love for cats and weirdness. Jun went from being hesitant and awkward to looking after her since she wasn't even a teenager when she debuted. He taught her how to cook Chinese food and she went to him when she needed to cheer up.

5. Hoshi = (before debut) she was so weirded out by him. Like why was a grown man pretending to be a tiger? And trying to get her in on the madness? She thought it was normal in Korea to act like animals until Joshua explained why Hoshi did what he did. And he was scary when he was in choreographer mode so she avoided him.

(after debut) Hoshi never scolded her, like ever, even when she made mistakes but if someone else made the same mistake, it was over for them. Protective brother number 3. Sara became the biggest horanghe enthusiast after Jeonghan. Protected Sara from the paparazzi and prevented them from taking inappropriate pictures of her. Sara in turn bought him tiger themed stuff and made him kimchi.

6. Wonwoo = (before debut) he brought her out of her shell. Wasn't scary like Seungcheol or a yapper like Jeonghan. He was the epitome of calmness but also a menace. Greenroom Wonwoo knew how to have fun and match everyone's freak. He made Sara laugh when she was nervous before practice. Taught her korean and fed her chocolates as reward after a long practice.

(after debut) best friends. Platonic soulmates. She taught him how to boil water (that is all she can do) and he taught her how to play games. They always team up in gose and play games all night long. She is his cuddle bug , the only person Wonwoo opens up to and he is her comfort person.

7. Woozi= (before debut) he chased her with a guitar after she lost his guitar pick. She just hid it on purpose to tease him since he was shorter than her. She naturally gravitated towards Woozi since she thought he was 12 cause he was small. He wasn't but that didn't change a thing. He was just too cute and too much like a cat that she couldn't resist poking his cheeks.

They had always been each other's rock, support system, the person who they each turned to when things got hard but then it started, Namjoon kept on taking and taking and taking till Y/N had nothing else to give him. He strayed away from her and the distance became irreparable.

When they first met, they promised to support each other's career. When BTS debuted , Y/N cancelled her own idol practice to support her boyfriend. When they struggled with funds and to gain recognition, she withdrew money from her own savings and gave it to them. As they started to gain recognition, all she could do was feel immensely proud.

Her group debuted too and Namjoon was right there beside her, cheering for her. But luck wasn't on her side. Their music wasn't getting the attention it deserved. People weren't interested, they weren't invited to perform on shows, management was failing them and there were no promotions as well. Her and her members had to use their own money for production but the more they put in, the lesser they got back .

In the meantime BTS became popular, rich and successful. A global phenomenon and Y/N couldn't be prouder. But that's when it started. Namjoon started pushing her away, wouldn't want her attending his concerts, wouldn't want her at promotions, wouldn't come home, and stayed late at the studio. Y/N understood, she really did but it was becoming harder for her. He was never there anymore even when she needed him. She was losing her joon.

To Namjoon, he started taking her for granted, her love, her efforts for granted. He felt superior, successful and felt as if having a less successful girlfriend was embarrassing. He pushed her away thinking she was not cut out for the life of fame.

Y/N's group were facing financial difficulties so she hesitantly asked her boyfriend to lend her some money, promising to pay it back. He did at first cause he felt pity but soon it turned to disgust and one day, everything went to hell.

He was stressed out, angry and in a bad mood. Y/N just wanted to spend some time with him , she needed him, her group was on the verge of disbandment and she just wanted some comfort. But Namjoon misinterpreted it and said some really harsh words.

"All you do is beg me for money! When will you understand that you can never be as great or as successful as I am ! Honestly, it gets embarrassing to still be in a relationship with someone who is failing in every aspect of her life!"

Y/N froze. She didn't want money, she wanted comfort, maybe a few reassuring words but the things he said, it hurt. Shattered the last bit of hope and self confidence she was holding onto. Tears rolled down her cheeks as she spoke quietly.

"You promised you wouldn't let it get to you . You promised the fame won't get to your head."

Namjoon felt instant guilt. He just broke his promise because the fame made him egoistic. He broke the one promise she had asked him to keep. To never demean or belittle her efforts and to never let the fame ruin their relationship.

"Y/N - " he started to say and walk closer.

She took a step back. Namjoon stopped in his tracks.

"I get it," her tone shaky. "I am not as successful or famous as you. I will never be. My group is on the verge of disbandment and I just wanted to be held by the person I thought loved me. But you are not my joon. You are not the person I fell in love with!"

He stood there feeling ashamed of his words.

"You take me for granted, you take my love for granted, you don't love me anymore and that's fine. But the thing which hurts the most is that you don't respect me anymore."

Y/N looked away, her vision blurry. "I can't do this anymore. I have nothing else to give you. I will pay you back the money I took."

She walked into the bedroom and packed her bags refusing to let him hear her sob. She took her bags, ignoring her now ex-boyfriend's pleas for her to stay or how sorry he was. She walked out and finally cried, sitting at the side of the road.

Namjoon searched for her but he couldn't find her. She was gone and all he had was regret. He ruined the relationship in a matter of seconds.

Y/N , now a popular celebrity news anchor was set to interview Kim Namjoon, the superstar who had just gotten engaged.

The screen loaded as they both saw each other after years.

Road Trips With Changbin

Driver picks the music, shotgun shuts their cakehole = takes that very seriously. He gets to choose the playlist for road trips and he has already made 15 of them before the trip. He will let you play your own playlist when you show him puppy eyes but only one playlist.

Getting drive thru takeout = getting mcdonald's is the ritual. 10 piece chicken nuggets , two pepsi , one bulgogi beef burger for you and a chicken mcripsy for him , two fries and one chocolate sundae with extra chocolate drizzle.

You have to feed him the burger and the nuggets while he is driving. He can still eat the fries with his free hand but loves to be fed the fries as well.

Singing along with him in the car as he has one of your hands intertwined with his cause otherwise it feels empty.

If it's a long trip then he will take out the spare blanket from the trunk and hand it to you so that you can sleep and if it is a small trip then you will make reels of him , capture the scenery around, stop at beautiful places on the way to take pictures and so on.

Dino loves to dance and you do too. You two always participate in all kinds of tiktok dances and even shoot reels with the rest of the seventeen members. But his favourite time to dance with you is when it is raining. No filming challenges no cameras around and with no people on the street it is pure bliss.

You two will play around , slow dance , kiss and just try out different steps. The whole time you two would be full of smiles and laughing out loud. The article released by bbc caused a huge stir among Carats, they were furious and rightfully so, their favourite producer had been targeted by brainless journalists who could care less about the truth and were just money hungry. Twisting his words, they accused Woozi of using AI for writing his song lyrics. Completely disregarding his creativity, his passion and his hardwork. It was devastating to see his credit being taken away. And even though the whole Carat fandom was backing him up and tearing down Pledis and BBC for such a ridiculous article, Woozi couldn't help but lock himself in the studio and throw around things in anger.

When Scoups and Jeonghan failed to get him to come out, they called his girlfriend to come to their rescue. She drove down to the studio in 10 minutes. The guys left her alone to give the couple privacy.

"Jihoon-ah, it's me. Please open the door," she said softly.

"No," his voice sounded rough and broken.

"Then I guess I will sit here till you agree to open the door," she said as she plopped down on the floor and took out a packet of chips.

It was silent for half an hour and Y/N could sometimes hear her boyfriend sniffle and sob quietly.

"Do you know how many people think of you as their role model?", she asked .

Woozi mumbled something from the other side of the door.

The door opened and he stood there with a tear stained face ,"And Wonwoo's Macbook."

Y/N got up from the floor and hugged him. "You are the best producer who has written and produced 157 songs all on your own without the help of AI. You have the greatest range I have ever seen. You express emotions in your songs, you write songs of all genres. You should be proud of yourself, my love."

"Thank you," he said as Y/N kissed his cheek.

"You know what? Speak up. Clear up things. The evil people need to hear that. They can't just go on twisting your words and assuming things," she said as she went to his desk and picked up his phone and handed it to him.

"You are right. I will stand up to them. They don't have the right to take away my credit," Woozi said determined to prove every hater wrong.

Learn how to interpret and not twist the words and accuse real hardworking artists of using AI. You are journalists, it's your job to report the truth and not throw around false accusations. Woozi from Seventeen had worked hard for years to reach where he is today and you guys discrediting him and writing a stupid article where you have deliberately twisted his words to defame him is ridiculous and downright evil.
