PSA: Stay out of RP tags for a while.

For the uniformed, over the previous week there have been sock accounts that have indeed been posting shock images of irl gore of a variety of subjects in the tags. Even if that doesn't make you personally squeamish, the clear intent is to expose people to it to potentially trigger / traumatize them. The tags they're spamming with these images range from 'oc rp' to outright '(fandom) rp'. While other blogs have been informing people of these accounts to block, and thankfully tumblr staff appears to be taking the blogs down within a 24 hour timespan, the fact that as of writing this person (or a copycat) is on their third blog and probably won't stop. And if they do, it might just be for a short period of time to get people's guards down. The best way to avoid this is, for the time being, stop browsing rp tags for a while and try to stick with the dashboard. On top of that, while I imagine it is tempting to commentate on these situations, outside of telling people the new URL to block, simply try to continue to use your blog as normal. Don't feed the troll, especially when this is a blatant case of using 'shock images' to elicit a reaction out of a niche community. The 'person' will get bored or realize that their blogs will continue to get banned eventually. PS. If you're concerned that you may get stuff sent directly to you, remind yourself of tumblr's safety features and how if a non-mutual tries to send you an image, it will be blurred out. You are safe as long as you stay out of the tags and avoid the 'for you' page (I'd recommend blacklisting popular rp tags if you feel exceptionally antsy about this situation).

IF   I   HAD   SEEN   YOU,   I   WOULD'VE   CALLED   YOUR   NAME   THE   MOMENT   I   ENTERED   IN   is   what   crossed   Jasmine's   mind,   but   she   doesn't   exactly   say   it   out   loud.   No,   because   then   she'd   have   a   sensitive   person   whining   at   her   and   she   wasn't   really   in   the   mood   for   it,   so   she   chooses   to   keep   quiet.

❝   This   is   the   first   time   we're   meeting,   ❞   she   says   instead.   She   tilts   her   head   to   the   side,   as   her   thin   line   almost   falters   into   annoyance,   but   it   remains.   Masking   it   as   she   props   her   head   up   correctly.   Her   hands   creep   up   to   place   themselves   onto   the   counter,   but   there   really   wasn't   a   reason   for   it   if   she   just   came   to   look   around.

Just   thought   I   might've   seen   you   around   before.   It   is   a   small   town.   The   only   problem   was   that   she   wasn't   around   here.   However,   not   a   single   thing   shows   it   aside   from   whatever   aura   she   gives   off   regarding   her   true   species.   She   only   appears   human,   having   masked   her   headwings,   tar-like   halo,   and   those   more   larger   wings   that   help   her   fly.   Needed   to   maintain   a   more   human-like   appearance   to   avoid   getting   snatched   up   by   some   kind   of   cult.

Words   register   and   she   gives   a   few   blinks-   right,   why   she   came   here;   books.   She   clears   her   throat   as   she   pushes   herself   away   just   a   bit,   hands   sliding   off   the   counter   as   arms   go   limp   to   her   sides. 

❝   I'm   just   browsing,   ❞   Jasmine   replies   as   eyes   glance   off   to   the   side,   nose   scrunching   up   just   slightly   to   take   in   the   smell   of   the   place   she   stood   in:   airy   and   dewy   in   some   kind   of   way.   It   contrasted   from   how   she   smelled:   clinically   clean,   stench   of   formaldehyde,   but   lavender   lingers   somewhere   on   her   person.   It   didn't   fit   with   the   clothes   she   currently   wore;   nothing   to   show   what   kind   of   job   she   worked. 

After   her   silence   for   roughly   five   minutes,   she   puts   her   attention   back   onto   the   man   standing   before   her   and   speaks,   ❝   You   have   a   section   that's   just   all   anatomy?   ❞

Curiosity had gotten the better of him, and before he could stop himself, words flew out of his mouth in the form of a question. "Have I seen you around before?" Something about Jasmine intrigued him and seemed familiar, but he couldn't quite put his finger on what. He hadn't remembered ever meeting her, so he was positive that wasn't a possibility, but still...he was curious. Probably being paranoid. Seemed like those thoughts never ended.

"You've got a point.." he said, with a half smile. "Just thought I might've seen you around before. It is a small town." It wasn't as if Percival wasn't a guarded person himself. Adjusting his glasses, he decides to change the subject to a more suitable topic. One that didn't have the potential to pry. "Is there a book you're looking for in particular or just browsing?"
