Angels and demons, Tomorrow’s the big day, GOs will go into production! As mentioned before they probably won’t start filming before Jan 20. *We will post updates about production, filming and the actors, mainly David and Michael (surprise ;-) *We will stay as spoiler free as possible, as we don’t want to ruin it for anyone! *Should we have any info that could be considered as spoiler we will give a warning before we post it on a 2nd / hidden page! *Each info we give will come with a source! *Are you excited? And you can tell I'm a passionate bookseller with a great love for Shakespeare, Dickens and classics in general.

Good morning, angels and demons, and a Happy New Year! A new year - January - has arrived, and with that production/filming of Good Omens is about to start soon. I would like to start the new year with these two collages. The first one happened in Edinburgh in 1827, the other in Soho in 1941. Beautiful colours mixed with sadness and joy...

Angels and demons,

There’re only a couple days left until we enter the new year. It also means that we’re getting closer to January 6th, which is as we all know the day they start filming Good Omens again.

Since we’re pretty sure there will be lots of updates and pictures (set/actors a. m.) we will upload them as posts+stories on our IG page, Threads, Bluesky and Tumblr.

We will of course continue to create new collages and there will be more of Azi’s diary, their messages and chats.

Working in a bookshop during Christmas season won’t give you much time off. So all I did when I got home was watching Good Omens.

Good morning angels and demons, I do love working with warm colours and try to combine them whenever it fits. In the first collage you see Aziraphale being, well, a beautiful angel and a bookshop owner. In the second collage I combined ic with ooc, the colours work just perfect together. December is the busiest month for bookshops, which means I don't get to post as much as I usually do (especially when it comes to GOs edits), but I'll do my best to do as many as I can. But it also means we're getting closer to January 2025, when they'll start filming Good Omens again!

Actually, I don't.

A while ago I explained (w/screenshots) how I do them, and I'll try and show you how I create collages using screenshots/photos:

Canva I select the photos I want to see in a collage. Here I turned Aziraphale in b & w, and I sharpened Crowley.

To create a collage I have to work with layers, they're probably the most important thing when working on a collage. In this case I needed 1 layer for the bg, 2 layers for Aziraphale, 3 layers for Crowley and 2 layers for good omens appreciation society (signature). As you can see I removed the background from Aziraphale 2, only one thing I love about Canva, it works perfect!

To give Aziraphale 2 kind of a 3D look I blurred Aziraphale 1.

And the first result looked like this.

2. Lightroom

I love working with Lightroom, because it gives you so many opportunities! I use so called presets. They can be filter, colours, shadows, highlights and so much more. Over the years I created my own, but when I started working with Lightroom, I bought so called bundles (darks moods, bright moods, fall, summer a. m.). You really can do amazing things with presets!

And when I'm happy with the result I usually work with shadow, brightness, colours, sharpness, soften, hdr, vignettes until I'm happy with the final result :)

Sometimes I also work with Photoshop, but that's more on a rare basis.

I hope my little tutorial gives an inside on how I work on my collages. I don't call myself an artist because I don't draw but work with screenshots and photos only.
