thoughts while drawing ianthe tridentarius: she has spent her whole life feeling incomplete and unworthy while trying to prove she isn't. She's so defined by being a shadow, I am terribly curious who she would be and what she would do if she didn't have anyone to compare herself to. Who could she become if she knew she was worth it?

Character designs for the ball AU in htn

It was very fun to let out my inner history nerd and get lost in researching historical clothing as inspiration; I especially referenced napoleonic military uniforms, and 1860s Victorian dresses (of course combined with a lot of other finery and flourishes) and I’m quite happy with the result :)

Little comic of the duel from Gtn; I was rereading this scene and I forgot just how good the lead up to the duel was, (well as the actual duel, of course) but they way that all the characters clash and react so differently in the face of the growing horror of Canaan house is sooo good and interesting :)
