Something I noticed in the new flavor foley song: Even in the last chorus, where the animations are clearly meant to convey that a note was missed, the perfect streak is never broken. This probably has meaning but i dont really know what yet

What do you think of the chaos monsters from ever oasis? I think they’re pretty underrated,their some of the best monster designs I’ve seen!

they're super cool!! it's hard to get a good look at them while playing, and there's not a lot of pictures of them that i could find, so i don't have as much to say on their finer details than i'd like. but! the things they chose to make monsters were pretty unique i think. you don't see a lot of squirrels, sea stars, or seeds that can bite you out of sheer seething hatred. there's a lot of variance in designs even within the families of monsters. i can usually tell all of them apart quickly, which is super cool with roster they've got going on. many many fun little guys to look at and learn the attack patterns of. also elephant mice are funky little guys so i love the leapards :) the flying bat-squirrels are also up there for me. and the little seed guys are silly but on thin ice for being literal ankle biters

in terms of serving the overall game, when i was little i liked how they don't die when you defeat them so that i didnt have to kill them. and i still like that, but now i like how that detail adds the the whole thing going on with chaos coming from active acts of malice. animals aren't capable of active malice the same way people are, so chaos never really sticks to them the same way it does to the main races.

im also a huge fan of how you encounter more aquatic-life-based enemies the further you get through the game. like of course theres gonna be remains of aquatic life in a desert, they're usually ancient sea beds, but then theres like, actual alligators, sentient kelp, and then crabs, cephalopods, toads, and starfish all at once. i think this progression adds to the feeling of uncovering the secrets of the past, when there was still water and rain. not only are you metaphorically getting closer to the secret of the chaos, but sorta physically through encountering monsters more reminiscent of the past.

overall very cool!!! just wish some flying enemies could be knocked down with a second level gale sometimes

trying to draw a not-evil edgeworth so obviously i have to get rid of the evil hair vents but it just looks like a bob and i don't know how to make it look less stupid

yeah sure hair vents look like horns he's the demon prosecutor whatever idc. maintaining that silhouette makes his hair look WEIRD and it makes him look stupid
