Note
I LOVE that you’re inspired by Korra! I’m watching it right now for the first time & it’s amazing.
Ahhh I know right! She’s honestly a total badass! And her journey and character development throughout the series is fantastic! How far through are you?

Sunday - 30 August 2020
My Stats:
Calories = 1,146 | Protein = 106g | Steps = 12,367 Meal 1 = egg whites & veg, 1 chocolate piece | Snacks = 3 vegan power bars | Meal 2 = chicken breast, cauliflower rice & kimchi, half orange Activity = 45min Run & Strength Training
What Went Well:
- Started my day with a run (45mins), had a healthy breakfast, then did a strength workout with dad - Completed my readings for my Developmental Psychology class and took notes to prepare for my tutorial quiz tomorrow - Watched Voltron with my friend (finally! I kept putting this off because of social anxiety but was able to push pass that and actually had a great time!) - Finished my jobs early in the day and was able to enjoy some reading before bed! - Interacted much better with my family today!
Challenges & My Responses:
- Not much went wrong today! - Did have a few moments whilst running where I wanted to stop and walk instead but made that one second decision to keep going in some of those moments and it wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be - My last reading for my psych class dragged on longer than I would have liked and I kept getting distracted but I made myself focus again and process the content
Where to Improve:
- Record run on apple watch to get distance and split stats (forgot today) - Push myself a bit more in the gym - Stretch after dinner with the family - Meditate in the mornings
Happy Moments:
- Watching Voltron with my friend - Sitting in the sun on my verandah with my dog whilst snacking on a power bar Push myself a bit more in the gym - Listening to music whilst cooking - Taking a brief break from studying & lying on my soft bed cuddling my cat for a few minutes as he nestled his head into me - Washing my hair after a run & workout - Lying in bed and reading

Friday - 28 August 2020
My Stats:
Calories = 1,047 | Protein = 84g | Steps = 7,489 Meal 1 = egg whites & veg, 2 chocolate pieces | Meal 1 = mince meat, vegetables & paprika, 1 orange, 1 chocolate piece | Meal 3 = 2 vegan power bars Activity = Rest day
What Went Well:
- Ate in a calorie deficit (and had mum & dad below too) - all busy with work/study to think about food - Successfully got back on track with my eating (strength workout with dad yesterday helped with that) - Got 4 lectures watched today, finished all the washing, did some tidying up and others chores - Getting going with my lectures made me feel good and quelled the anxiety that has been hanging over me from the procrastination - learning that it is definitely better to do the work then feel the stress of procrastination
Challenges & My Responses:
- Had a delayed start to the day as chores dragged on and mum needed my help and everything just took longer than expected - got annoyed at the delay as it meant I wouldn't be able to get everything I wanted done today. But I recognize that I was going down that negative thought processes and stopped myself. I re-jigged my schedule, took a break to cool off then started in on my work - Was going to knock off only having done 3/5 lectures but sat in bed and started on the 4th and managed to get through it - Dogs kept barking really loudly and it got very annoying - I started getting very stressed but after the initial burst of anger I caught myself and again took a step back to calm down
Where to Improve:
- Didn’t do any exercise today but my main priorities are the strength workouts, and considering I’m getting back on track I’m going easy on myself. Still, would like to get in at least some cardio on my rest days going forward - Start earlier in the day - communicate to mum that I have to leave the room earlier so that I can go and do my work
