Quick thoughts on Silent Hill 2 Remake:
Just finished going through the apartments, and one thing is immediately clear in this remake in comparison to the original; it's loud and in your face. whereas the original is subtle, quiet, and slowly gets under your skin. The remake has a bombastic sound design alongside more aggressive enemies. It's more Silent Hill 3 than Silent Hill 2.
