it starts with hermione using the time turned while in the Forest of Dean with Harry and Ron, she ends up in the past fall in love with Tom and they return together to the exact moment she left in the first place, in the forest with Harry and ron.

Hermione hurried over to the store cupboard to collect what she would need for the potion. The Valerian roots were right on the top shelf and she stood on her tiptoes to try and reach. “Here,” said a deep voice behind her and Hermione felt someone brush against her back as they reached for the box themselves. She turned to face the person and found herself almost chest-to-chest with Tom Riddle. “Oh. Yes. Thank you,” Hermione muttered, feeling heat rise in her cheeks. She silently thanked Merlin that the store cupboard was dark. She stepped back from him and accepted a few roots from the box. “I don’t believe we’ve been introduced,” he said to her in a polite voice. “Tom Riddle.” He didn’t offer for her to shake his hand. “Hermione Granger,” she said, in a voice thankfully much more steely than her nerves.  “Yes. I heard.” He scanned over her features with a calculating look, yet his expression revealed nothing. His eyes hovered for a moment on her hair, which had become unruly once again from the steam in the dungeon. He then turned abruptly and left (which Hermione thought was rather rude), leaving her alone in the dark.
