another update: started sewing on the first stripe. i don’t have a sewing machine, but i know how to hand sew.

1. stabbed my finger with back of needle, that started bleeding

2. snapped the needle

3. had to get another needle, grabbed a thicker one so it wouldn’t snap

4. stabbed my thumb with back of said needle

5. snapped said needle

6. ran out of white thread.

would you like to know how many stripes i got sewn on????

i have to make 14 fabric stripes for Kid’s blazer. i have the 4 made for the middle i just have to make the other 10 (5 on each sleeve)… i’m just gonna cut the rest out tonight and finish hemming them all tomorrow so i can start attaching them uwu

i have to have this costume done by this weekend ;_; i’m so close the blazer is the last big thing i have to make other than painting a few more small accessories (the pistols and the brooch)

con crunching is not for the weak … maybe i should make a survival guide (i’ve been con crunching consistently for a decade now)
