"Ash's first day at home, I think. If I must. That was the happiest day of my life. You spend centuries thinking it's not going to be possible or happen and then it does and it's the best thing ever. He was so small and sleepy.

There's no euphoria quite like it."

Do you think you're a good person?

"That's subjective. I like to think I'm a fairly neutral person who tries hard to do good. Have I fucked that up from time to time? Yeah. Will I again in the future? Yeah. But I'm going to keep trying anyway."

Anon Day — What is Lyn's current, first and foremost focus at this moment? Is this something she's eager to be working on or is this more a necessity dictated sort of thing?

Her current first and foremost focus now, and for the next twenty or so years, will be her son Ash. Eventually he will be an adult and will want some independence, but being a parent never stops.

I definitely think it's a little of both. She's his only parent and he is her full responsibility, but she also loves being his mom. He is a fun little guy and she can't believe she got so lucky.
