My pet peeve is how all missions from Rockstar’s games are written the same way:

Mission Giver: “Let’s do this thing it’ll be easy!”

Protagonist: “This sounds like a bad idea”

*Mission goes wrong*

Protagonist: “I TOLD YOU IT WAS A BAD IDEA”

i was horribly afraid of tornados when i was really small but also looked up youtube videos of them constantly because they came in all sorts of shapes and colors. lots of pages in my puppy sketchbooks dedicated to the different categories, the ones that were wider at the bottom vs the ones without much shape at all vs the ones that didn't touch the ground and stayed all clean and pointy. ive never seen a tornado in real life but i dreamt of them often

One of the main contributing factors to this is the continued corporate sanitization/removal/homogenization (and subsequent lack) of kid/youth oriented, all ages orientated, and adult orientated spaces.

If people want me to elaborate further I will.

i'm gonna be completely honest when i say the majority of people who want kids to banned from social media don't actually care about the well-being of children, but rather don't want to be be around children in any public space ever because they don't want to do the basic courtesy of being nice and readjusting you're behavior, and on one hand i get that kids can be tought to deal with, but i think if you asked these same people if kids should also be banned from movie theaters or restaurants or public spaces in real life, they would say "YES" because they do not see children as people.
