Maserati 3500 GT, 1959, by Touring Superleggera. The 3500 GT was Maserati's first series production car. Designed by Touring Superleggera, it marked Maserati's entry in the world of luxury Grand Tourers, featuring the pioneering "Superleggera" lightweight aluminium construction. Fast forward 66 years and a 3500 GT that was originally sold to the Dodge family in California and kept within the family for a number of years before making its way back to Europe has been restored by the car's original coachbuilders, Touring Superleggera. With the support of the Maserati Classiche department the car has been granted a Restoration Certification and its Certificate of Authenticity and is on display at Rétromobile 2025.

Steyr Puch Haflinger 700 AP Prototype, 1959. A lightweight off-road vehicle with astonishing off-road capabilities, thanks to its front and rear differential locks and low weight. This is the 48th one produced and left the factory on the October 22nd, 1959. Originally intended for the Austrian army, it was kept at the factory in order to create a prototype for the US market, identifiable by the size of its headlights and its odometer calibrated in miles. As it was never shipped to the USA, it was finally sold to Fiat (the brand’s distributor at the time) on the 24th October 1960 and then registered in Turin, becoming the first and only example delivered to Italy in 1960. The Haflinger was discovered in the small mountain village of Curiglia in Italy, hidden in a tool shed only accessible via a stone path. The restoration carried out has preserved the originality of this machine as much as possible. Since October 1959 it has travelled only 11,990 miles and will be offered at auction at Rétromobile 2025.

With nearly 700 years of history, *L'Eschif* in Périgueux, France, has remained perched on a narrow wall since its construction in 1347. Originally used as a watchpoint for a toll bridge, this oak and timber-framed building with plaster infill rests on the walls of *Puy-Saint-Front*, the ancient medieval center of the city. Its sturdy oak beams support the structure along its length, standing out as an exceptional example of medieval architecture that has withstood the test of time.
