ooooh i think my top contenders would be rachel/jesse, santana/mercedes, rachel/santana, mercedes/tina and quinn with so many. quinn is honestly a great duet partner with everyone she ever sang with...

this is so hard for some reason lol, there are so many good ones! i would definitely say "paradise by the dashboard light," and the rest could shift, but i love "the scientist," "my life would suck without you," "we are young," "somebody to love," and more.....

61) Which season is your favorite? Least favorite? 

my favorite season is DEFINITELY season one - this is the best version of glee by a lot imo. it had the clearest tone, the strongest writing, the most consistent characterization, etc. the songs fit the story, and the narrative was focused on a central theme.

my least favorite would be season five (other than "the quarterback," which i think they did such a great job with). i think a lot of people share this sentiment, but season five is kind of a mess. it's very inconsistent, the writing was chaotic and haphazard and even the performances seemed phoned in - that being said, i think the writers and cast and crew were in such a hard position at that point after cory's death and i can't even begin to think about how i would have handled that if i had been in their place, so i don't blame them.

pezberry for sureeee and i don't see why we couldn't have had a little pezberry moment in the back half of s4 when they were both living in new york lol. i was never really on the faberry train but recently i read some fanfics and... I'm starting to see it I'm ngl lol. i also like blam tbh which is ALMOST canon

8) Character you’re indifferent about?

not to be controversial, but there are a lot of these lol - though i will say, i do appreciate every season one original cast member because i think they were all integral to the initial success of the show and it wouldn't be the same without any of them. with that said, i don't really have strong thoughts about artie, tina, emma, mike, and all the s6 newbies, but i haven't watched s6 in a while...

25) Ship you used to like but now dislike?

hmmm not to be controversial AGAIN, but i might say brittana. i like them in s2, but i think santana should have been with someone else. i did used to really like them when i originally watched, and santana is still one of my absolute favorite characters.

2) Favorite character introduced in s2/3?

all my favs are season one OGs tbh, but i think i would probably say blaine, just because i really appreciated what he brought to the show in the second season and was an important part of kurt's story. i'm not crazy about how he was used as a character later on though. and i do like sam, but he's also not that interesting to me as a character.

7) Least favorite character(s)?

i am not really a fan of the season four newbies in general. i think they are generally pretty bland and do not feel like Glee™️ characters to me. of the OG main cast, Brittany is my least favorite though...

19) Least favorite couple?

i mean... other than something obvious like beiste and cooter... i would say jarley or marley/ryder (do they have a ship name?) because again i just found that whole storyline and era frustrating and very Not Glee™️

1) Favorite original club member?

rachel all the way.... i'm a rachel berry stan forever. aside from what i like about her as a character and narratively for the show, i love rachel because it was extremely refreshing to see a female lead with ambition who was allowed to be annoying and have (many) flaws - especially as a young girl in 2009 myself. rachel helped me through so much in my own life. when i start reviewing the show i will definitely be breaking down more specific thoughts about her. that being said, I'm not a rachel stan who cannot see that she has flaws, both as a person and a character, and i don't think the writing of the show always did her justice.

6) Favorite guest star?

JONATHAN GROFF. i loved the energy jesse brought to the show, especially in season one, and he has one of the best (if not THE best imo) male voices on the show. i also loved patti lupone's cameo.

17) Favorite canon couple?

i am a finchel truther... i love the dynamic between them and how completely different they are from each other. i think they are very essential to the narrative of the show as a whole.

hello gleeks of tumblr....

i'm starting this blog in anticipation of glee's return to streaming TOMORROW???!

i'm an OG gleek - i started watching the show when the PILOT AIRED alllll those years ago and it's absolutely sickening that i still think about it as much as i do. i have SO many thoughts about the show, and i was already planning a full rewatch when the show hits hulu in the US, so i figured this could be a fun outlet to get out my thoughts while i watch! at this point, i'm planning on doing a little review/analysis of each episode as i watch, but who knows what this might become...

i'll start with the pilot either tomorrow or the day after!
