sekiro updates and thoughts in general:

gyoubu was a joke, maybe i got lucky fighting him or something but i beat him 2nd try. very cool guy tho!

i think i might have cheesed the bull with firecrackers and lots of gumption.

the game opens up a lot once you get to ashina castle! i've discovered, like, 3 main paths i can go through. there's a forest, there's inside the castle itself (which i think is that 'canon' path) and an abandoned mine. do you recommend going through any of these first?

my game kept dropping frames even on medium! i had to go on a good ol' steam forums research, looking through 5 year old posts, and i managed to fix it. i had to turn off v-sync specifically on the nvidia control panel specifically for sekiro. im very chuffed about this.

this game rocks dude. i get it now! i get why people go apeshit over the combat! it's so good!!!!

You're not being bothersome at all! In fact I'm answering this one publicly so everyone can see how good Sekiro is and go try it for themselves :)

The game has multiple endings, and they all depend on you exploring and discovering stuff. So it'd really be a spoiler for me to direct you down any particular paths. The only way you can lock yourself out of an ending is by answering a certain character's question a certain way. Otherwise it's all up to you eavesdropping on people at certain points and just exploring and finding stuff. So don't be afraid to do that! If you hit a wall with a boss, go back and try a different path.

Gyoubu is definitely easy, though I admit to the bull frustrating the tits off me. Firecrackers definitely help. If you're at Ashina, then another fight with Genichiro is close and he can be troublesome for some players. I love fighting him though, lightning reversal is so satisfying.

Say hi to woo guy for me! :3 Share sake with NPCs for backstory. Beware Mist Noble, the hardest boss in the game o_o
