Im sorry if this is too personal, feel free to tell me to piss off or ignore me, but how did you end up so nice when a lot of your family seems so fantastically fucked? I might be assuming too much and this is probably a bit too parasocial, but you you take the time out of your day to indulge questions on the other blog, you're always encouraging when it comes to questions about art and how to improve , you have a god-like work ethic with like 60+ hours a week on minimum wage, you dont take holidays unless its for a chapter break and thats only for the buffer, you hang out with fans on discord in between chapters, host fanart contests for fun, I know im only viewing what you choose to present online but you just seem like a cool well-adjusted person.

What gives? was it your mom or other people that made you who you are? Did you just make all the right choices and come out as a good human being? should i do something more productive with my day other than asking you this stupid question?

It's my mom! While the rest of my family are freaks, I was lucky enough to get the best mom in the world, and a dad who is a dumb asshole, but who mostly keeps it to himself and is easily ignored. I've also made okay choices for myself. No substance abuse, no drinking, no romantic relationships, no risky financial gambles, no major medical problems. I'm a very skeptical and untrusting person in general. I see the scam in everything and everyone, so I avoid!

If you play it safe in life, you're less likely to get screwed over. And if you don't get screwed over somehow, you have more energy to be kind. Or at least fair and considerate.

But thank you for saying so many nice things! I'm really not anything special. I should volunteer more and go to more protests. Sitting at a keyboard typing nice things at people is really the least any of us can do :)

Going to Disney Springs tomorrow and think I will debut my perfect and splendid Kermit purse. I bought this a few years ago at Mickey's Halloween party but haven't really felt obnoxious enough to wear it in public before. I feel it takes a certain mood to be in your 40s and carrying a character purse, even if the character was created before you were born.
