In May of 2012, I discovered my first dating sim, Idol Days by Pacthesis. That July, I posted my first blog post here! That led to a lifelong love and a wonderful eight years of otome and tumblr! With so many other otome blogs out there, I’ve sometimes wondered if maybe it was time to throw in the towel, but I truly love sharing stuff here. And a large part of that is because of the love and support I’ve received over the years. I can’t express just how much that has meant and continues to me to me! Thank you to everyone for an amazing eight years here! To show my appreciation, I’m doing a follower giveaway!

Just started playing your demo, and the artwork is beautiful. One minor criticism, and I don't want to make a big deal of it because it didn't put me off playing... but initially characterizing suicide as cowardly / running away from your problems was really frustrating to see immediately at the start of the story.
Ah I see thank you for your input and we will work to change or reword that scene. We're taking every criticism into consideration to prepare for a new much more polished demo the next time around as there have already been a few criticisms lol. Thank you!

Patch 1.0 Released!
Our patch to prepare the game for wider release on launch day is live now and should download automatically if you are playing the game on Steam. For DRM-free versions, you will have to download the new version from your humble download page.
Here’s what we did:
- Fixed a some text errors like typos, wrong speakers and errors related to variables in texts.
- Fixed some incorrect conditionals regarding characters that could lead to odd behavior.
- Corrected soundtrack track listing.
- Fixed support for Steam achievements. Expect all in-game achievements to be added to Steam as well at some point within the next few days.
In rare cases, individual existing save files may be affected by these changes in a way that causes odd behavior. Using an earlier save file or rewinding may be necessary to continue. In any case, starting a new playthrough should work without issue.

The demo has been tested with a small group of betas but, of course, issues are bound to crop up now that a larger group has access. Please report any bugs, glitches, problems, and/or errors to us here on tumblr, or by message on twitter. You can also email us, or comment on our demo page but we’re likely to respond more quickly here or twitter. Thank you to everyone who has supported us this far. We’re still a good ways away from the finish line but it’s awesome to have gotten even this far in the process. We hope you all enjoy the demo!

Demo will be delayed
Unfortunately, we won't meet the demo deadline and it will be delayed until late February or early March. We have everything coded in. There's some minor bug fixes. As well as additional music, sound effects, and animal sprite we are waiting for. We aim to make our demo as polished as possible and therefore will have to delay the primary release as scheduled on Valentine's Day. With that said, we look forward to having our next update being a demo release of our game.

Zodiac•Axis is a fantasy-fusion visual novel focused on suspense, romance, and Asian-inspired supernatural elements. It centers around a tabloid journalist who’s assigned to investigate six unusual targets. A light and fluffy adventure ensues in which she:
Is almost crushed by a chandelier.
Finds herself in a burning house.
Witnesses an execution.
And somewhere along the lines, she starts to think that journalism is a lot more complicated than she expected.

Full release of the game looks to be in development for around two years max. Information on the actual release date will be confirmed once we hit the individual routes, seeing as a portion of the common route is already done!

Hello! Looking forward to the demo! Do you know how much of the game will be covered in the demo/the length of the full game? Also are you going to be doing a kickstarter for the game?
The length of the game is approximately around 11,000 words and it covers the introduction of all the characters plus story. For kickstarter we will plan to release it in the following months after we finish planning everything, so two months max after the demo has been released. We have already began planning things however still need to finalize costs and rewards, as well as produce a trailer.
