         ❝ Nyx Ulric. ❞ She repeated her name as though she were inscribing it to her memory, not that she needed to or so she had been told many a time by those training her for the public eye. It was not expected of her to remember all that worked to safeguard her or those of equal importance, but Lunafreya had thought it was disrespectful to not at least make a small effort to remember who they were. After all, they were charged with her safe keeping.

         ❝ It is such a wonderful night, is it not? The sky alive with colour and the air crisp and fresh. ❞ It was an attempt at small talk, and though she could be speaking with anyone else -mainly those in positions of power and wealth- the oracle found that conversing with what most dubbed the common people to be infinitely more interesting and engaging, for their lives were not so mundane and it helped her connect to the people she endeavoured to cure.

         Taking a few steps so that she was now facing him again, she fixed another gracious smile upon her face, one which illuminated her pretty and delicate features. ❝ Forgive my asking, but you originally hail from Galahd, do you not? ❞ She lifted her hand and brushed her index finger over the apple of her cheek. ❝ Your tattoo’s… they are something of a give away. ❞

             the glaive offered a small ,  short-lived    nod .  confirming his standing in regards to the    blessed    weather   they currently resided in .  not that his opinion was one to be heard ,  or    cherished  .  nyx was simply a man , one without power  -------------- without    meaning .   it was a life that held a few happy moments ,   &   many ,  many false facades .  

             &  here she was ,  stepping into his line of sight .  those big blue hues peering at him .   digging ,   searching for    something .  nyx was unsure why lunafreya had chosen to speak to   him ,  out of all possible partners for the night .  part of him could already piece together the    underlying   doubt ,    a sick thought that she was simply   toying   with him for pleasure .    ah ,  but how could he even consider an ill theory such as this  ?    the princess was far too pure of heart .  which made him ask again ---------  why   him    ?                           -------------      he was far from   good .  

            a curious question for a respectable   queen-to-be .  nyx couldnt fight back the desire to answer her beckon ,  though he was fully aware of the   troubles   that await him if he pursued such action .      ❛    you catch on    quick .   yeah ,  i used to live there .   until it was   taken   over .      ❜     he answered ,  finally making eye contact with her .  nyx had picked    lighter    words  ,   perhaps not just for lunafreya’s sake .  an ever brief moment of silence passed between the two ,  filling the voided silence with    bittersweet    memories     of his youth .   his    family    before .....       ❛   —–—–   lucis    is my home now .      ❜

okay guys tell me to shut up at any point in time, but--

ravus has one purple eye after trying to wear the ring. ----- &  stella’s appearance ?  she has purple eyes. is this because she acquired / attempted to take  power that wasnt rightfully hers to take in xiii versus ?  just like ravus in kingsglaive ?  am i looking to deeply into this ?   prob. but out of all colors to pick for ravus’ eye color to change to. if it were to change at all, why purple  ?  why not be blind like ignis or.... rip like nyx pff

                guard    duty   was only was    exciting     as the established event   &   destined location the glaive was to be stationed .   the majority of soldiers found themselves    content    surrounded by gluttony    &    lust ----------  but in some quiet ,   undeniable    way ,   nyx had the most fortunate of positions .  standing amongst the grand    caeulum   balcony ,    damned to watch    beautiful   fireworks     light up the night sky .  

              a man surrounded by the    cultures   of   military    knew very well to    retain      their emotions ,  to keep a straight face   &   focus on the task at hand .    which made it all the more     difficult     when the princess countered him .  if they were under any     other    circumstance ,    ulric would put it lightly that he was working   &   leave it be .  but after     crowe -------  part of him was obligated to    deliver    the hair piece .    it was all he could manage in her name .  

             as if recalling previous moments     summoned     the young lady ,   her voice beckoned    yet     again .    it was a light   &   ever soothing tone .  nyx had only heard rumors about the    oracle    prior to her journey here .  but he could     easily   agree     that she was pure of heart ,   earning the woman a    side   glance     of blue hues .  taking in her figure   &   genuine   smile     before shifting back to the horizon .     ❛    nyx.        ❜      he stated ,  simply .   attention solely    dedicated    to keeping his stature .    he wouldnt want to    disgrace    king regis with fickle postures .    as he was yet to be released from his current duties .       ❛    —–—–  my name is    nyx   ulric ,    your highness .      ❜

          The party had all but fizzled out, save a few die hards that refused to admit that it was over, and of course, the oracle herself. But her reasons were vastly different from those that were filled with wine and merriment who were now organising where else they could go and drink their fill in the crown city of Insomnia.

          For the oracle, this was a time where she could breathe the late night air and talk a slow stroll around the venues balcony freely. Too long had she felt like a bird trapped in a cage.

          It was then that she spied the Glaive from earlier in the evening, the one whom had given her the trinket that his comrade had been unable to deliver. With hands linked at the small of her back, Lunafreya made her approach once more, a smile upon her face.

          ❝ You know, you did not give me your name when I asked for it, and as you can see, you needn’t keep such a watchful eye now. ❞
