Omega for Vegan people
Omega-3 is an essential fatty acid that our bodies cannot produce on their own and must be obtained via diet.
·
It has the potential to do the following:
·
Reduce the inflammatory response
·
Improve triglyceride levels in the blood
·
Reduce the amount of LDL (bad) cholesterol in your body.
·
Reduce the chances of mental deterioration as you get older
·
Reduce the chances of getting a heart attack or stroke.
Salmon, trout, Mackerel, Tuna, and cod liver oil are some of the most well-known sources of omega-3 fatty acids.
Taking supplements derived from animals is not a choice for vegans. As a result, they must rely on vegan omega-3 supplements for their wellbeing. But then there's the question of whether Vegan omega works in the same way as other omegas.
One form of omega-3 found in abundance in plants is ALA (alpha-linolenic acid).
However, they fail to provide the following two:
● EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid)
● DHA (docosahexaenoic acid)
ALA can be converted to EPA and DHA in our bodies.
What is flaxseed extract and how does it work?
Flaxseed was once used to make cloth for textile products, but after science discovered its health benefits, it became popular as a health supplement.
Flax seeds' essential oils, which contain omega-3 in the ALA type, can be extracted by cold pressing them. Flaxseed oil is available in both capsule and oil form.
Since flaxseeds contain only ALA, a biologically inactive source of Omega-3, our bodies must transform it to EPA and DHA before we can use it.
Fish oil and flaxseed extract also have Omega-3 benefits.
Although the manner in which the two sources supply omega-3 varies, the benefits they provide are quite similar.
Lower Triglyceride Levels Improved Heart Health
Better HDL cholesterol levels, lower LDL cholesterol levels, better skin health, and less chronic inflammation.
Extract of Black Seeds
Flaxseed extract's beneficial effects can be boosted by black seed extract. These seeds have been used as health remedies for thousands of years.
Reduces high blood pressure Reduces inflammation Ameliorates Rheumatoid Arthritis Symptoms Relieves some Asthma Symptoms Decreases high levels of bad cholesterol Reduces stomach upset and cramps
The black seed extract is also beneficial to the skin, providing the following benefits: Reduces acne Reduces the production of plaques associated with psoriasis Provides skin moisture and hydration Promotes hair shine.
Final thoughts
Omega-3 is used in various forms in fish oil and flaxseed. Although fish oil contains EPA and DHA, flaxseed extract contains ALA, which the body can convert to both EPA and DHA on its own. As a result, flaxseed extract, along with black seed extract, becomes a strong Omega-3 alternative for vegans.
