I've been working with @gizmocrate-werecrow on a fun AU that's tentatively called "Layers of The Box"

Simply put, it's a bad ending for the Monkees after Head.

I'll go into more detail under the cut:

From Top Left to Bottom Right:

Wax (Micky): A melted, old wax figure with an identity crisis. While he prefers to stay in his own museum-eqsue domain, that won't stop him from hunting you down. If you find him melting more than usual, run for your life. There's no telling what he'll do when he's unstAble...

Glass (Mike): Under no circumstances should you seek out this stained glass hermit. His land may be a never-ending party, but he would much rather be alone. Bother this crumbling icon too much or else you'll end up as the newest addition to the windowpane.

Puppet (Davy): An egotistical and cowardly showman. If you dare enter his theater you best prepare for the performance of a lifetime. The audience helps determine what happens, so if they don't like what they see... they will rush to change it.

Lantern (Peter): If you ever happen to get lost in The Box, he's the one you should seek out. His lantern lights the way to somewhere even he doesn't know. However, he may act as a guiding light, but his shadowy hands can be quite clingy and jealous.
