           He hated being here, and he wholly disagreed with the idea that Lorenzo seemed to have had them getting into this shady business. The Pazzi were bad news, their bank was bad news, and the moment this would come out they were bankrupt. Not to mention all those weird older ladies that seemed to think he'd sleep with them if they threw enough money in his direction. No, thanks. He did not need their money and he did not, at all, desire their physical presence close to him.

           He huffed, downing another glass of wine.

           It had all started when Lorenzo decided that Francesco Pazzi was a better brother than he was. A better business partner, a better godfather for his child - well, a better man in general, perhaps. And Francesco had told him that this was all legal, that nothing bad would happen.

           Giuliano did not believe it one bit. This was bound to blow in all their faces and he cursed his own loyalty to the bank and his brother because frankly, he did not desire to be around when it happened.
