A friendly game of pigskin between the paratroopers of the 82nd vs the Combat Engineers at the Berlin Polo Grands–both General Eisenhower and Marshal Zhukov attended the game, and when asked who he was rooting for Zhukov is reported to have said: “The Engineers, they are wearing red.” Of course the Engineers won.
