I've just released an article titled, "The Truth About My Depression" on www.girlandtheword.com (full link in my bio). I wrote it a few weeks ago but I've been very hesitant about posting it, mostly because I fear what people would say or think.. This is my most vulnerable and open piece of writing so far, so I truly hope that it would be of encouragement, comfort, and help to those who give it a chance. Whoa! Guess what just got delivered to my house! ☺️🎉 I still remember the bewildering night of my high school graduation, when I sat on that football field half jealous of the A Capella kids that got to sing because their grades were high enough and mine were barely past the minimum to graduate, and half baffled that I was actually graduating despite my depression and poor performance. 5 years and a couple of huge doses of Grace later, I'm still baffled as to how I graduated from Berkeley and landed in this Pasadena apartment. But God is good, and He is here, so I'm sure it'll be one heck of an adventure. I'm all in! #greatlife #lovedoes
