So new fanfic idea for those that care.

"In Valhalla, Odin and Frigga watch their son's struggle with Thanos and their deaths afterwards. They saw what happened to Loki in the Void. His torture by Thanos, and his death at his abuser's hand. They saw how Thor didn't want to live after he watched his brother die, how he'd quietly given up after the Time Heist. Thor had committed suicide shortly after. This...wasn't supposed to happen. Not even in Frigga's weaving had she seen such. Pleading to the Norns, the Allfather and Allmother are granted a second chance, with knowledge of what happens. They are younger, Thor and Loki are teenagers, and Asgard is whole and not destroyed by fire. But Thanos still lurks in the shadows and there are plenty of problems plaguing the House of Odin...not the least which is Loki's identity and Hela. Can the monarchs get a happy ending for their family, or are they destined to watch their family fall apart?"

Anyone can take this summary and make a story out of it. I don't care what you write. Just please give me credit for the idea, is all I ask. Otherwise, go nuts. Have fun. Feel free to reblog.

I've been writing a thorki fic in my mind but cannot put it down on paper. It's been ages thinking about it. I don't even know if it is a good one lol

Thor and Loki get married, arranged married. Thor doesn't love Loki, but Loki does. Thor is not mean to Loki , he just put up with their situation to make his parents and asgard happy (Loki is beloved by everybody else) Unfortunately they consume their marriage even though Thor has not feeling ,they take their time doing it.

After some months, Thor goes to earth leaving behind Loki and stay there for a year+. Unbestknown to Him, Loki is with child, his child but ask for the annulment of his marriage with Loki. Loki accepts, still keeps living in Asgard and plan to raise his child in asgard , together with Frigga and Odin. Someone wants to kill them,'cause a child born from Thor and Loki is very powerful.

Odin and Frigga decided to hide them in midgard (NY) and after a year living there, Thor found them by coincidence. The Avengers and Thor were responding to an attack and that's how he finds them. They didn't meet each other per se. Thor saw both of them being escorted to a safe place by one of the avengers. He recognized him but still wasn't sure. So Thor decided to go back to Asgard and find out if Loki is following him. There, Odin and Frigga tells him everything ,even thought Loki asked them not to , but they are in danger and Odin and Frigga wants Thor to protect them. Thor goes back to earth and look for them. He takes them under his care, while living together ,Thor gets to know Loki and their child, help and protect Loki and falls in love. He works hard to get Loki back ( Loki is apprehensive because he does not believe Thor would love him back)

How does it ends, i don't even know...i wish I could put it down on paper

He had been married to Thor for only a month, they lived together in their own wing of the palace, and Thor treated him more like a servant than his spouse. He wasn’t even supposed to leave their chambers without Thor at his side. As far as Loki was concerned, it was only a matter of time before the god became violent with him, and he refused to be a subservient, obedient wife for him. He didn’t wish to make his husband too angry with him however, which was why he was now rushing through the palace, trying to make it back to their suite before Thor. When he got there however, the Thunderer was already standing in the middle of the living area, looking less than pleased. Clearing his throat as he shut the door behind him, Loki gave a sheepish smile, clenching one fist in the skirt of his gown in an attempt to hide the tear in it as he waltzed into the room as casually as he could, and said, “Good evening, Thor.”

On May 28th, my sister, Edna, turned 31.

 Her mental age is about three years old. She loves Winnie the Pooh, Beauty & the Beast, and Sesame Street. Even though the below picture is unconvincing.

My name is Jeanie. I’m Edna’s younger sister. I’m also her guardian and caregiver. 

That’s me on the left. (Hey, you never know. After a year of writing a blog about online dating - Jeanie Does the Internet - I’ve come to learn that there are A LOT of fools on the internet.) 

ANYWAY, I’m not “doing the internet” anymore. I’m taking care of Edna full-time, after completing my MFA in Writing for Screen & Television at USC.

May 16, 2014. I wanted a picture. Edna wanted breakfast.

In case you’re wondering where our parents are, they’re dead. Our mom died of breast cancer when she was just 33.

As for our dad, he peaced-out around the time my mom got sick. His loss - we’re awesome. 

Here we are being awesome at the beach. Pushing a wheelchair in the sand? Not so awesome. 

In case you’re wondering “What’s wrong?” with my sister - as a stranger once asked me on the street  -  NOTHING. Yes, Edna has a rare form of epilepsy - Lennox-Gastaut syndrome - but I don’t know if that’s anymore “wrong” than people who don’t have manners. 

Basically, Edna was born “normal,” and started having seizures as a baby. They eventually got so bad that they cut off the oxygen to her brain, causing her to be mentally disabled. Or impaired. Or intellectually disabled. Or whatever you want to call it - except “retarded,” because in 2010, President Obama signed Rosa’s Law into effect, replacing that word with “intellectually impaired.” 

Which is cool and all, but services for the disabled and the people who care for them are SEVERELY LACKING. Also, there’s a bunch of people working in taxpayer-funded positions who are supposed to help families like us, but don’t. (Big surprise, I know.) They just fill out paperwork (whenever they feel like it) with asinine statements like this: 

YUP. I transport my sister down the stairs in her wheelchair, because that is not only safe, but TOTALLY PRACTICAL. Why doesn’t everyone in a wheelchair just take the stairs, for God’s sake? Stop being so lazy, PEOPLE WITHOUT WORKING LEGS! 

But, as it says above, Edna’s legs do work. Whether or not she wants them to, is another story.

These are the stairs that I have to carry her up - by myself - on a daily basis. That is, until one of my legs break and both of us are just sitting at the bottom of the stairs, helpless. 

For six months, I have begged - BEGGED - the State of California to help my sister, which they are required by law - The Lanterman Act specifically - to do so. But they’ve told me “these things take time” and that I “need to amend my expectations.” (That was said to me when I refused to place Edna at AN ALL-MALE CARE FACILITY. Because yes, that was an “option” that was offered to me.) 

Prior to Edna moving in with me in my one-bedroom apartment, she was living with her amazing caregiver, Gaby, back in Tucson, where we went to high school and I did my undergrad. Edna’s reppin’ the Wildcats below. 

But back in November, Gaby also died from breast cancer. (FUCK YOU, BREAST CANCER!) This picture was taken a month before she died. She never even told me she was sick because she didn’t want me to worry. 

By the way, we were raised by our grandma. Edna and her were very close.

She’s dead, too. Surprise.

She died when I was 20 and Edna was 21. That’s when I became Edna’s legal guardian and Gaby stepped into the picture to help me out with Edna. 

So, six months ago, after Gaby died, I moved Edna to California, where I tried to get the folks over at The Frank D. Lanterman Regional Center to help me. I’ve told them I’m worried about our safety - that one of us could get hurt on the stairs -  I’ve told them I can’t afford to pay the private babysitters $15/hour because the ones social services sent me who make $9/hour were unreliable (they didn’t show up on time or at all so I could get to school and work), untrustworthy (one of them let Edna go to the bathroom in the kitchen and then took her into the bathroom because “that what I thought I was supposed to do.”) 

But the people over at the FLRC don’t return my calls, they don’t file the paperwork on time - and the first caseworker that was assigned to us actually LAUGHED AT my sister when he came to our home to evaluate her. When I reported him to his supervisor, she told me, “That’s just [insert name of said jackass].” 

He was one of the two caseworkers that contributed to the report I mentioned above, which also included this: 

So let me get this straight - I have to feed, bathe, dress and help Edna in the bathroom and you can’t deduce whether or not she is able to vote? What in the fuck?!

Now I realize I seem angry. And you can bet your balls I am. I’m also sad. Sad for those who don’t have family to stick up from them and who waste away God knows where, monitored by no one. Or monitored by people who physically and sexually assault them. 

I’m also sad for the caregivers who are SO EXHAUSTED - trying to take care of their loved ones - while also trying to take care of themselves and battling a system that is supposed to help, but does nothing of the sort. And I know a lot of people give up. They let their dreams, their marriages, their friendships slide. All while trying not to resent the very person you’re doing it all for.

Edna wanted to sit next to me the other day while I was writing. Clearly, she’s not impressed. 

Here’s the thing: I REFUSE TO GIVE UP. I’M NOT GIVING UP ON HER OR MYSELF. I’m going to pursue my dreams while taking care of her, AND while ensuring that the people paid to do their jobs ACTUALLY do them.

That’s where you come in. I need you to help me get my story out there. Because I know I’m not alone in this. I want to connect with families who are in similar situations and also show people who have no idea what it’s like to care for someone with a disability (or even a loved one who is sick) that it can be rewarding. Super fucking hard. Exhausting. Painful. Isolating. But, rewarding. 

I’m going to get help for my sister - and others. My hope is that by sharing our story, I can bring awareness to the lack of services and help for the disabled.

Net Neutrality: What it is and What it isn’t

I care about net neutrality a lot, yet I haven’t reblogged any posts about it yet. You may be wondering why and simply put, the misinformation on this site is pissing me off.

Many of you may have seen posts going around with pictures like these:

They’re very scary and compelling. They illustrate a dystopian future where websites are sold like cable packages.

The problem is they have jack shit to do with net neutrality and what the FCC is trying to do, and frankly it makes those of us trying to protect net neutrality look completely ignorant.

So, what’s actually going on? Sorry, but it’s not as interesting as the pictures convey. If you don’t read between the lines it’s going to seem like boring shit. Sorry, guys, but the way that scary as fuck legislation gets passed in this country is by hiding it in a mundane, boring package that no one cares about or pays attention to.

So, what is the net neutrality that’s in jeopardy? Back in 2015, broadband providers became reclassified as common carriers under Title II. The FCC actually pushed for this Title II reclassification at the time so they could come up with stronger Net Neutrality rules. Basically, the FCC has legal authority to keep companies like Comcast, AT&T, and Verizon from interfering with web traffic in any way under Title II.

So what’s happening now? Trump’s FCC chairman and Verizon’s bitch, Ajit Pai, wants to reclassify broadband providers as Title I, and let the internet providers, companies like Comcast, AT&T and Verizon, do whatever they want to control web traffic. This includes slowing down service by means of bandwidth throttling.

What does this mean for the internet and how we use it?

1. Companies will have to pay extra money to the internet providers, so their web traffic isn’t interfered with. This will seriously harm up and coming websites. If Google was invented post net neutrality they never would have been able to flourish in the way they have. They likely never would have gotten off the ground which is why even big companies like Google and Facebook support net neutrality.

2. The internet could turn into an oligopoly with only the big companies like Google able to pay enough to keep web traffic flowing. If broadband providers are able to interfere with web traffic to smaller sites there will be no competition on the internet as a marketplace. Oh, you’d love a version of Amazon that doesn’t treat it’s workers like shit and actually cares about mitigating its environmental impact. Too bad, the website is slow as shit if it even loads at all.

3. Any websites the internet providers disagree with will have their web traffic interfered with. This includes important social justice movements like BLM, LGBTQ pride websites, antifa and so on.

Millennials are Killing the Internet

I’ve already commented on one post, but I can’t with a clean conscience sit by without making my own.

I see so many posts about Net Neutrality, and while I think it’s tremendous how many of you are emailing the FCC, some of those emails aren’t going to change minds.

Some of you are emailing the chairman himself. Ajit Pai was a former Verison employee. It doesn’t matter how many emails you send to him. You could literally tell him that you depend on the Internet’s resources to live, and he would not bat an eye.

Many of you are putting in your emails that hospitals and schools will see troubles. I appreciate the effort, but when these men are the very same men who have already taken SO MUCH from hospitals and schools, will they?

What you NEED to do, is speak their language. That language is dollar signs. Make your voice sound like MONEY THEY WILL BE LOSING.

We live in a nation where restaurants are failing because no one can afford a $20 meal anymore. What makes the FCC think we can afford more than $60 Internet? E-commerce is essential to the US economy. If users are forced to go through paywall after paywall, they will STOP purchasing anything off the Internet. The nosedive in stocks will be the likes of nothing you’ve ever seen.

Without the freedom to choose which websites we visit, the internet, for many of you on Tumblr like me, will become virtually meaningless. Make THAT the message you spread to these two “Yes votes.” Tell them that if the Internet becomes just like cable TV, which none of us are able to afford, they will LOSE the few dollars we have.

They’ll be interested in hearing that.

These are the emails of the two FCC members voting “yes” on the repeal of NN. If anyone’s mind is going to be changed. It has to be one of these guys. And it has to be before December 14th.

As you all know Since Tumblr is owned by Verison. So the reason why Net Neuturality posts have not been trending its because they’re blocking it from being seen. There for I suggest an idea to have their little scheme bit them in the ass.

You see since they refuse to put net neuturality trending then why not put it in trending ourselves

Go to Trending when you go to explore Tumblr and use every tag they have in trending and tag it to every Post we have about net neuturality including ones mention what tumblr is doing.

So everyperson following those trending tags will see what is going on as well.

Don’t just stop their, tag all net neuturality posts under under every fandom known.

EVERY FANDOM YOU CAN THINK OF. 

THEY MAY BE ABLE TO TRY HIDING ONE THING BUT NOT EVERYTHING AT ONCE.

FROM VLOGGERS TO GAMERS

AND CREEPYPASTA NARRATORS
