Elwood followed him to the kitchen and saw the coin. "Oh...it is the same coin." He said as he looked at it. "Did he tell you how to due it?" He asked.

Lyndon walked towards the kitchen and lifted a bag he had over it. "Here it is."

"You think it is that bad?" He asked him.

"Yeah, lets run." He said and walked down with him. "I need to check my house."

Like any skillset." Unless you were born with it, which in his case he was born with a few. "Do you mind if I ask for you next time too?" He asked.

"It just takes some practice making food." Wyatt told him as he didn't look up from the pan. Not because he was worried about his own food, but he was watching the timings of both of their pans so that he could save Elwood if he needed to.

Lets get back downstairs." He said as he walked down. He didn't want them to get caught.

"Damn...well at least now I know my uncle is keeping something safe." He said.

"Not really. Everything else is just business." He said as he took a few steps back.

"About something being kept safe?" Now that was interesting. "Anything else?"

"We can. So where is the coin?" He asked with a smile.

"And now I am here...though we can help each other." Lyndon told him.

"Hopefully I will soon." He shrugged. His eyes then lit up slightly at the recipe cards. "Oh that will be helpful for sure, but I believe I'll learn it once I do it a few times. I'll bring you some once I have done it well."

"If you call your food magical, you better have the chops to back it up." Wyatt pointed out with the spatula in his hand, his focus on the pan that they were using. "That's okay, I have recipe cards for these ready so you can take them and try them at home. They all start the same." He said as his hands slowly reached for the next ingredient.

"Not really...." He said, "I think your uncle...if that's your uncle said something about being kept safe."

"Alright, sounds business-like enough. Anything else that is interesting?" He asked.

"Other than mom and Yerai not really. That's the reason I was sent here, to get help."

"It is....do you have any?" He asked.

"So do call it magical." He shrugged, but he stayed silent as he listened to his teacher. "Maybe I should stick to plain for now. We can try the others another day or I can try it if I don't get to work with you again." He told him.

"Right.. but you might get weird looks if you call your food magic spells." Wyatt offered as he looked down seeing where they both were in the process. "Okay from here you can go down three different paths. If you just want plain tomato, you just leave it like this and stir with the tomatoes until it thickens with some herbs. Less time and some dried chilli makes it an Arrabbiata. Cream and vodka make it an Alla Vodka sauce." Wyatt explained quickly showing off the three different ingredients he had ordered in groups.

"Not at all. A support system is important, always." He said with a small smile.

"Sounds cringey, but with the help of my friends. I learned from each one and now I can even defend myself to a point. "The banshee told him.

Elwood waited a little bit to answer. "They are talking about a meeting, something about trying to get a CEO down or something." He said.

"What are they saying?" He whispered next to him, hoping he would get something.

Elwood giggled. "Like magic." He said, but he was paying attention. He was trying to keep up with him "I think so yeah. I don't think I'll know if I fully got it until I do it by myself"

"That can help if it's tomato based, it's essentially diluting the liquid in the food." He said as he quickly started to fry the ingredients one after the other, calling them out as he added them one by one.

"Got that?" He asked going back to Elwood.

"Sure." He said and slowly moved aside so Momo could move back and he could move in. "Ok, I can hear better now." A lie since he could hear it all from here with just a little focus. He could have probably done this from the bar, but he didn't have that skillset down yet.

"I can hear a bit, but barely." He told him. "Want to switch places?" He asked.

El stood right behind Momo. He glanced a him. "A little." A lie because he could hear everything quite well, as if he was in the room himself.

Momo stopped, checking from the corner to see if anybody was there. When nobody was there he got close to the door. "Can you hear anything?"

"How did you get to control it?" He asked him. It was a little ironic. They were in opposite directions in terms of power.

"That sounds...like what happened to me at the beginning, but it doesn't happen as often to me anymore. " He told him.

"Tomatoes too right? My nan always told me if you put tomatoes on something, it takes away the salt." He said. He never tried, but he always remembered that for some reason. For that same reason he followed what Wyatt was doing. "Yes chef."

"That depends on what needs to be fixed. If something is too salty you can add some dairy, or acid, or potatoes." Wyatt said while he watched Elwood follow. "Like that, just follow after me when I put the ingredients in." He said nodding while he started to reach for the ingredients he'd need first.
