PLEASE go watch Anne with an E on Netflix I need it to get renewed for s3 like I need oxygen & it’s got everything from REALISTIC PORTRAYALS OF MENTAL HEALTH and FOUND FAMILIES and SLOW BURN ROMANCE and LGBTQ+ and POC CHARACTERS FULLY FLESHED OUT IN THE 19TH CENTURY and ACCURATE PERIOD DRESS AND MANNERISMS that make it THE BEST THING EVER I love the book and the 80s series too (it’ll always be the OG Anne of Green Gables in my heart) but this adaptation is so refreshing and sweet and dark and complex and fun and it brings me so much joy if you like any of these things even a little bit please consider checking it out you won’t regret it
