Egg massacre
If you want to place your own tokens on this map, I have a shopping cart and a basket for you to use!
This map has a version where you can slide around on the eggs for a classic sliding puzzle! Use it to get knocked prone, use it to slide several feet to a new location!
Although a simple map, this is one of my favorites. I love making battlemaps that have unique mechanics to them in some way to change up the fights. So we had a map where a ferral zombie would slide around covered in eggs to attack the players.

All (previously met) NPCS in Squad 43!
So far...
Pink squad!! Well they're not actually a squad, and these aren't the last pink/purple looking pals out there. Chet had a nice updated image as well that fits him more after how he got shaped with the players outlook on him.
Chip had a nice update here as well. Since I changed the artstyle that was meant for the campaign, I had to update the two (that are still alive) to fit the current style for it more. Regarding Edison though, well he had his arm chopped off after what 2 sessions? That was extremely unfortunate. I never felt like updating a new image for that either. Naaji at least hasn't been visibly damaged, but he did go deaf one session ago!
(Jenny if you read the old post about this, well she is still just as dead as her replacement photo for her zombie-encounter.)
Honorary reminder of Edgar in case my players ever see this:
Copy pasting this from the old post:
Why this format/template for all images?
This campaign follows one very important rule. The most important item you can carry around in the campaign is a phone.
Distractions.
Communication.
Images through SMS.
So the images are all themed around the same thing for that reason.
There are some hidden little secrets in the images, some far more noticeable than others.

A day of Chet Etienne - Battlemap
This was originally used for a quest, that I no longer have the screenshots off. A 1n1 session with Doc, played by Davi.
Unlike these images, the quest's battlemap was made by several images put up together.
Separate walls.
Floor
Windows.
Whiteboard.
All furniture.
In this quest, Doc was given a few difficult choices to make. Things I cannot yet state as of player secrecy from that session. But, one part of the battle; he got to set up all the furniture inside of the map beforehand, to block the paths and make a safe corner for himself to sit in as chaos would emerge.

Edgar's Stage - battlemap
Here are screenshots of the stage decorated by my players!
I made this battlemap empty so that I could put any tokens onto the map layer on top of the battlemap.
Reusable
Players can decorate a scene whoever they want
Can be a fun key point of the session
Make the players build their own battlemap hinder
Originally they were going to fight zombies that were going to break in during night. But mid session I realized that they would all leave the area (before their first quest was revealed), so I turned it into a safe area base for everyone to relax in the start of the campaign instead.

Achievements!
Something I fixed a long time ago to spice it up for my players a little bit, and to give them some ideas on things they can do in the campaign to motivate them or guide them a bit...
An achievement document!
A few found online, a few made by me, a few made by players. It gets updated with new achievement ideas once in a while! As you can see, there is currently 161 achievements in total in the campaign.
As for my favourite:
Made a bet with friends whether somebody would buy a body pillow from the boutique or not. The body pillow is still in their inventory.

GM hacks - Too many handouts & NPCs!
I used a LOT of space on Roll20. In fact, I used so much space that the game became too slow to play. So when I was in a sad pickle, I had to remove nearly everything I had. I had a lot of cool ideas I used before everything started breaking on me and everyone.
Back then I decided to remove all NPCs but keep all my handouts and quests on roll20. (I also didn't have enough space for NPC images due to not paying back then.)
Solution 1: Shared google document!
This google document is still being updated for every time they learn a new piece of information or meet a new NPC!
As I had a lot of handouts however, the problem re-surfaced.
Solution 2: Tumblr blog!
This is where I now keep
Old area information
Quests
NPC info
Handouts (of importance)
Etc.
It is useful, might help others and can be a fun time-capsule of my first campaign for both me and my players! It is a burning trashcan, but it is our burning trashcan.

Chet Etienne - The Boutique
Welcome to the boutique of Squad 43! "Sit & chat with Chet"
Chet Etienne runs a boutique on wheels which he decorated and painted himself. Being lazy and wanting to live easy, he raids three to five big houses in each town and relaxes for the remaining time.
There was a bonus quest board added to his shop which can't be seen in the basic shop images along with a gambling option.
[ Paranoid | Perceptive | Sarcastic | Sly | Judging | Fair | Petty ]
Some love him, some hate him. But one thing is for sure, there is a surprise waiting in store for my players; and I cannot wait to show it.

Roll20 & OpenOffice Impress
Since the players play on roll20 (usually) but look at the discord stream once in a while, I made two stickers to show when they need to look at roll20 or the stream. Very zombie themed of course.

GM hacks - PowerPoint / OpenOffice Impress
When I couldn't afford to pay for roll20 in the start, I didn't have enough space to show what the locations looked like. This isn't referring to battlemaps.
So I got OpenOffice Impress!
We play our campaigns online, so I stream everything on discord! If this had been an irl meet-up campaign I would've tried to find a cheap projector or seen if somebody else owned one. I think it sounds kind of nice as well for an irl meet-up campaign, kind of sets the mood I imagine.
These are some examples of what has been shown on streams!
The background images are separated from the visual novel speech bubble "UI". That way I can write in any necessary text I want if I even want it in the first place.
I do pay for roll20 now. But I use these for several different things now! Plus the aesthetic of it and bonus puzzles are pretty nice!

Roll20 Landing page
I wanna show you my player's landing page!
This is what it looks like for the players, vastly different for me though as I have several things scattered around on the GM layer (including everyone's MT & HP)
Going into more exact detail of this:
I got super tired of making big images to switch between on the constant. Location, general location, placement for tokens etc. It became a huge hassle in the end for me. So I made several smaller images that can easily be replaced with another (mashing them together to make it look as a huge board.)
Though if you look at the empty corner of all of this: I use that as the space to divide players as a reminder to myself when they decide to split the group.
There is a location marker for the map as well, but that is not currently showing on the screenshot as I removed it. (I am switching map location for next Saturday!)
