Morning Manners

Lynx stares at their food as others bussle on with their breakfast. They push the plate away and sigh, before laying their forehead on the table, wishing they were back in their quiet cabin or walking alone in the woods, practically anywhere that’s away from this crowd of demigods. Lynx’s feelings only increase when they hear a familiar voice tell them, “I know you hate breakfast, but you do still need to eat something. You didn’t eat dinner last night either.”

¸.•*¨) ¸ “They.... really should not force to eat you, if you do not want to, I think....” Evangeline knew it was for sure not her business. But she also knew the feeling when her half-siblings told her to eat in similar situations. Her own plate was still half full, as well, and while throwing away food was nothing she supported, Eve also was done with breakfast for today already again. @lynxti0n​

The last thing Seth remembered was heading back to his cabin to watch some movies and possibly drink a shot or two. He woke up groggily, and a look at the clock told him it was almost noon, which meant that he hadn`t been able to cook extra breakfast for his siblings. He walked out to the porch of his cabin, eyes still adjusting to the light as he inspected the mess that was Camp after Halloween. Seth might have watched or dreamt of High School Musical because when he saw a Camper passing by, instead of saying good morning, he yelled, “WHAT TEAM?”

¸.•*¨) ¸ “I... don’t know?” Evangeline blinked in confusion, though, at least she did not jump when Seth yelled at her without any obvious reason. “I mean, are we talking about sports here? Or is that just some sort of... joke I am not understanding again?” @sethglendower​

Leia smiled lightly nodding and gesturing from them to start walking after her sister spoke. “I think it makes sense,” she commented as she picked Emma up from her crib. “The rain is relaxing, in a sense. The sound and the sight… it’s therapeutic.”

When leaving the cabin, she had to blink a couple of times into the sunlight, nervously playing with the hem of her new gloves. “Also, am I allowed to ask you something maybe.... about our abilities?” @leia-griffin​

Jasper was dressed up as Kid Flash, and he was so excited to get an obscene amount of candy–and then eat it all at once. He ran up to the first camper he saw and yelled “TRICK OR TREAT!”

¸.•*¨) ¸ Evangeline jumped backwards with wide eyes. No one had prepared her for a kid suddenly coming running up to her and asking for sweets. “I... I have nothing, I fear,” the brunette shook her head, clearly nervous now. “I am sorry?” @jasperthedoctor​

“I feel like I’ve lost something, but I can’t remember what exactly, and it’s bothering me so much.” Leah grumbles, rummaging through her bag once more. All the essentials are there, including her sketch book and pencils, which are known for going missing around camp, leaving Leah to wrack her brains trying to figure out what else she could possibly be missing. “Have you seen anything that looks like it shouldn’t be where it is? If that makes sense?”

¸.•*¨) ¸ Eve was just walking around with no real destiny, taking a few picture she could add to her diary later, when hearing someone obviously talking to themselves in the near distance. She also could hear some very confusing thoughts, but tried to block them since so much informations would most likely give her a headache. “I....” she approached the other slowly, unsure what to say first. “Do you need any help... maybe?” @stxrryleah​

Leia smiled, happy her sister had decided to come. There was a lot of stress in Leia’s life at the moment, and going places without someone to talk to made it easier to dwell on her own thoughts. She preferred to engage, and it seemed Eve had some worries of her own. Leia always felt better after helping others talk it out.

She raised an eyebrow at Evangeline’s question and smiled a bit inquisitively. “Sure… sometimes. When they’re watering the crops. And when the seasonal God children or the Zeus cabin mess around with the weather. Why do you ask?”

¸.•*¨) ¸ “I like the rain. That might be odd, maybe, but.... I have spent a lot of days just sitting on a window bench, cuddled inot a blanket, and watching the raindrops falling from the sky,” Eve explained, grabbing the small camera she had borrowed from another camper to be able to take some pictures now and then.

¸.•*¨) ¸ “I know many people prefer the sun, though. But while it is pretty, it an also blind you...” Not to speak she’d never exactly trusted pretty thing, in general. @leia-griffin​
