She tried to stand up, nails hitting the dirty floor and soon leaving it, her legs making her start running only to be stopped by his filthy hand again, this time around her right arm. Jei turned her left hand into a fist, ready to hit him straight in the face when a familiar voice filled her ears. An investigator (a real one comparing to her) stood at the end of the alley, the night being too dark for Jei to spot any part of her face.
When fighting a ghoul Jei would use the least amount of words - if she could use any. It was always a waste of time and they would normally just make you sound like an asshole, probably because many investigators would lose the surprise attack to gain some points on the appearance category with some smartass comment.
The girl hit the ghoul while Jei was busy rolling her eyes, the male letting her free and the sudden loss of support making her drop on the ground again, her backpack barely comforting the fall. The male ghoul passed next to her while trying to flee and Jei didn’t move a limb to try and reach for him, her senses (the ones she had) still making her head buzz.
Jei stared at the investigator from the ground, wanting so bad to make a smartass comment about her smartass comment, but left only wishing. She stood up on her own, her clothes dirty and wet and, above her shitty appearance, she could have died, yet she was almost invisible to the other one.
Her eyes slowly adjusted itself to the darkness during the fight, finally noticing the real investigator’s face. She couldn't remember her name even though Jei knew she was no Rank 2 investigator, but it wouldn't be very useful if she knew it anyway. Her legs forced her to move out of the way of a potential chase, but her stupid arm couldn't simply let the other one go without a smartass move. Jei rose her arm, slowly moving it towards where the ghoul ran, as if she was showing a princess to her new castle. It was a small move but yet the best she could do.

The investigator smiles, delight ghosting into her posture as blood surges through her system. It wasn’t over —in fact, far from it. After all, she liked to play with her prey.

Fix It » Jei + Ster
Her nails ran through her brown hair as shelooked at it against the elevator mirror. Her body would have been pressingagainst it if it wasn’t for her laptop between the two of them. It was only last night when it decided not to turn on even after several minutes of rage, Jei plugging the power cable in and out impatiently. If there was a place to find a bunch of nerds that knew how to mess with a computer, that place was the CCG headquarters.
Of course that Jei was a nerd who knew how to mess with a computer, but she obviously wasn’t a very good one. She was a theoretical nerd, not a practical one. Her hands let her hair go, the beanie on her head probably being enough to pretend her hair wasn’t washed, and her chest bearing the same orange shirt as she wore the day before, the word ‘clothing’ printed right in the middle of it. Her favorite kind of clothing: sarcastic. It wasn’t bright orange, but soft. Like the sunset, some great thinker would have said.
The elevator went ‘bing’, making her mind come back to where it should have been. Her legs hurried out of it (An object or a room? Jei would never know), looking for familiar faces but finding none (probably all of them already out for lunch). Spotting someone who looked at least friendly, Jei walked towards a boy sitting at his desk, him not looking much younger than her. She placed her laptop on top of his desk, soon realizing she wasn’t prepared to hold a ‘conversation’ with a stranger.
They shared a stare, each one of them waiting to see who would speak first, Jei obviously going to win the competition.

Alley Ally ᐈ Jei + Eunji
Darkness filled the streets with late night sadness, but she could still perfectly see with the help of a few light posts separated by every few meters. People used to tell her that because she didn’t have one of her senses her other ones worked better, but she always thought it was just crap people said so ‘normal people’ could have something to be jealous about losing a sense, and people like her could have something to brag about.
A car honk scared her thoughts away, making her jump on her feet and realize she should have turned a few blocks away. Her body span around looking for a point of reference, finding a grocery store she would visit often, an alleyway right next to it she knew would make a perfect short cut to her home.
Her steps weren’t too quick – a mistake – and she didn’t have her quinque with her – an incredibly dumb mistake. How Jei, a mute and young lady, could walk so confidently down and alley in the middle of the night is a mystery on a world where she could very well be a prey.
Jei focused her attention on looking for her keys inside her backpack, only to step on a big puddle of what she hopped was only water and soaking her sneakers. ‘Well, fuck.’ Was all she could think, mouthing the words but none coming out. She walked backwards, a plastic bag now stuck to her foot which was already in an ugly situation, her back hitting something soft.
She turned around as an instinct, looking up to find a shiny mask. The male ghoul stared at her through his mask and Jei stared back. His slim fingers fitted perfectly around her neck, quite poetic, and her nails dug onto his skin, trying to take his hands off her, but it seemed like a bit of pinching wasn’t enough for him. With a simple and quick kick between his legs he dropped her, almost making her fall into the damn puddle again, her backpack dampening the fall. Jei rubbed her neck, coughing her strength out while trying to stand up. At least the night started well. She wondered how it would end.

No, but really, please take care of my little Jei. I’ve been dying to play a mute character and I decided to do so now. Please love her lots - she is really nice and cute and is able to do a lot of harm.
