So watcher decided to paywall- let’s get around that.

When I was about 16(?) I found out my favorite rooster teeth content was going behind a paywall. I got on tumblr, and I sent out a message. I said I cannot afford to pay monthly for this, would anyone be so kind as to share? I got a couple nasty messages telling me to get a job, but then I got a reply. They agreed to share with me. I still have that username and password and we still share to this day. I don’t post comments as them, and they let me watch whatever I want.

I say we do the same here. It would depend on how much the account costs of course. If it’s a flat fee of 5$ a month, someone could take one for the team. I currently cannot as I have bills. If it’s really and truly streaming service price, 20$ or above, we could make a discord channel and each donate a few dollars a month. The more people, the less each person pays.

The plan falls apart if they have device sharing or account sharing in general blocked. But if anyone would like to do this, please respond underneath here. If someone becomes willing to pay the full amount, I’ll message each person who replied and invite them to a discord where we can all share one account.

This paywall is not a good move. I understand they need money to keep traveling and paying for the food show, and traveling for ghost hunting, but paywalling us isn’t how it should be done.

Edit: turns out only three devices can be using it at once, so password sharing becomes a nightmare of SCHEDULING who’s on at what times 🙃 they really did everything to prevent us

Do you guys also love it when you watch a youtube show for about a decade and then they decide to put it behind the paywall? And you can’t even pay for the subscription not only because it’s expensive and you’re already subscribed to plenty of other services BUT because you PHYSICALLY CAN NOT pay for a subscription of a service from a different country

“jog, king” is so funny to me because it’s vaguely a threat, albeit a bizarre one? it’s like: “hey king, you might want to start briskly jogging for your life”

can we also talk about the crew realizing that shane lied to ryan about where the walkie-talkie was and how they were ready to go rush in to save him and shane was like "no no no, let him go!"
