Sorry ‘nother FD fandom rant but honestly some of you guys who complain about Wendy stans can be just as, if not more, insufferable as these stans you’re complaining about.

Believe it or not, people can indeed enjoy characters that you don’t, especially if they’re fan favorite characters (so obviously you’re going to see more people talk about her more often), for many reasons other than thinking her actress is hot.

Not to sound like a negative Nancy especially since we JUST got the new trailer (which btw looks EXCELLENT) but ngl I find myself getting a little annoyed by the FD fandom often (and there’s not really a lot of us to begin with).

It’s mostly on here and Reddit but I feel like some of you guys are just so goddamn negative almost like you’re trying to replicate the toxicity of other fandoms which we never really had a lot of. It seems like people are constantly arguing over fictional characters, almost exclusively talking about how shit they think a movie entry is (which sure you don’t have to like every single entry but how about talk about something else every now and then), and just bullshit like that. The dogshit takes that spawn from this garbage too.

It’s just annoying and it’s disappointing because this fandom was so chill and normal when I first arrived and now I just find myself getting irritated yk

Be so fr, Barb and Billy are not the only chaotic ones in that house. I think the other sorority girls have their chaotic attributes as well.

Jess hates spiders, hates them. If there is a spider in her room she will leave the house. However, despite her hatred of spiders, she also believes that they shouldn’t be killed (“I don’t want to hurt you, but get the fuck away from me” type deal). Unless they’re actively crawling on her, then it’s completely involuntary on her end.

Barb claims to fear nothing, this is a complete and total lie. She is deathly afraid of puppets (specifically ventriloquist dummies and marionettes) and clowns. She is also not very fond of the dark.

Barb has been to the ER numerous times (not because of anything like serious she’s just super reckless, if she’s dared to do something she’ll do it).

Jess beats Billy over the head with a broom to kick him out of the house.

Phyl and Barb are the type of friends who cannot be in the same class together because they will try and make each other laugh when they aren’t supposed to.

Billy would be genuinely unbearable with today’s brainrot phrases.

Clare’s favorite artist is Frida Kahlo.

Some random ass Black Christmas Headcanons because my brain is forcing me to and it’s better than existential doomerism :)

The story takes place in Canada, near everyone is Canadian. This is a fact, fight me.

The only two characters who aren’t originally born Canadian are Lt. Fuller (born American) and Jess (born Argentinian-British).

Barb was actually the first friend Jess made moving to Canada.

Phyl was her second friend she made moving to Canada.

Getting the gay shit out of the way, Phyl and Barb are both lesbians (although Barb has a little bit of internalized misogyny and just overall internalized a lot of shit), Jess is pansexual, and Clare has peak bisexual girl energy. I honestly have no clue about Billy, although I do fw the idea that he does like men ig.

Let’s be real, it’s the 70s, they’re college students, they have all dabbled 🍃 (some more than others).

Barb has been hiding a cat allergy for years living in the sorority. She never told anyone just because she didn’t want Claude to be kicked out.

Jess’ passion and major is music, which is unfortunately how she met Peter.

All of them can ice skate, except Jess. Barb is really good at figure skating, Phyl was briefly apart of a hockey team, Clare learned casually how to skate at a young age, but you CANNOT put Jess on the ice unattended.

Billy can also skate and actively tries to knock people over on the ice.

Phyl’s a theater kid, no I will not expand on this.

Clare is 100% an art student, have you seen her room setup.

Barb is not really passionate about a lot of things but she does love to write. However she also has an interest in music.

Clare is the designated driver. Barb has been the designated driver once, never again.

Jess is fluent in multiple languages, her native languages are English and Spanish, but she also taught herself French and Italian.

Barb is near completely fluent in French, although she mostly just likes to use it to talk shit about people without them knowing.

Barb is bipolar, not because I want to mirror facts about the actual actors onto the characters but because I simply do genuinely think it fits her character. She has the highest highs and the lowest lows.

Jess is a zodiac girlie.

kinda wanna genuinely ask proshippers what’s so hot about incest ships and adults x minors. like genuine actual question. would it be different if the characters were from live action? what makes l0li/sh0ta different from real life children if they’re very clearly kids drawn in a specific art style just like the adults from that same media. like i have so many questions and i need to know without the classic proship “it’s hot lol :3” with no other explanation. do you not think deeper about why you find this thing appealing? about what draws you to those themes? especially if you don’t have trauma surrounding it. idk. i’m crazy i fear
