A lot of people that have social media accounts believe that that is a platform where they can post what they want, when they want and about what they want. This is not always the case; you have to keep in mind the friends and family that see and are effected by some of those not so nice posts. A lot of sensitive topics are out there and more people need to show empathy and compassion for others.

This is the article that I read and it really made me see how people will post whatever they want and if other people disagree with them, they either get muted, deleted or blocked.

This TED talk is about how not using social media can change your perspective and you won’t feel like you need to post everything about yourself online. I think most people love to let friends and family know everything that they’re doing and as far as politics go, sometimes this is not always a good idea.

Arguing on the internet is a lot this. People will post everything that they are thinking and when they are in person, they most likely will act like they weren’t saying anything at all.
