I see you mom, crying in the shower so the kids won’t know or hear you......I know about those tough days, not having time for yourself. Maybe you do have time for yourself but you make excuses as to why you don’t deserve self care.....friend, you can’t be your best self when you are not taking care of you♥️

While your out there saving the world and trying to be perfect for everyone else, stop and take time for you. What makes you happy?? What makes you feel good?? What is going to help you grow and get to the next level?? Do that, friend♥️

The time is going to pass anyway, so let’s not let it waste away.....let’s make the best use of the time we do have. Be intentional about the hours in a day. Get up 1-2 hours earlier so that you can do some exercise and/or personal development, maybe just sit quietly in prayer and meditate. Anything that is going to help you be a better you throughout the day♥️

Do not feel guilty about taking care of you or pampering yourself. When we feel prettier, we are happier. Get up, get dressed and put your makeup on first....even if you are just going to be at home all day......I guarantee your posture will be better in everything you do that day, even in your business. Let me just say that I am 99.9% more likely to do a FB live if I’ve “gotten ready” for the day♥️

I’ve had many “crying in the shower” days and I’m sure I’ll have some more.....and sometimes we need to cry to get it all out.....just know you are not alone. What matters is how you are when you get out of the shower. Be intentional on purpose! Decide that you are going to do better and be better in all areas of your life and when you have a rough day, give yourself some grace and a little extra love. Decide that you are going to take care of you first so that you can take care of them♥️
