HI TYSM !!! im so glad everyone likes my humble redferno art,,, theyre some of the guys of all time to me and i love them dearly
as an apology for taking so long to answer this!! i offer you this short unfinished comic
in my au, red alerts processor is badly damaged in a crash, leaving him prone to glitches and system shut downs and such. inferno is the one of the few mechs other than ratchet who knows how to deal with this, and when red glitches out really badly in front of him, inferno actually helps red through it. red alert had not trusted him AT ALL before this point, so this comic is pretty much the first step towards them actually becoming friends!
ALSO IMPORTANT NOTE: i forgot to mention this last time, but their dynamic was originally inspired by the fic nor is he early on ao3!! its an amazing fic, go check it out
#inferno#red alert#redferno#transformers#maccadam#tried to condense the explanation down as short as possible so thats pretty much the gist of it .. but a couple of side notes!!#so this was a regular occurance before reds glitch#inferno shows up asking if he can sit with red alert、red says no、inferno hands him a cube because red always forgets and then leaves#but after inferno DOESNT take advantage of reds glitching out to kill him、 red starts letting inferno hang out in his office now n then#eventually this becomes a daily occurance and red alert starts appreciating the company#and they grow into a more g1-esque dynamic#<- please note that i am not a writer and i have no idea what im doing SOBDS#im just havin fun#ANOTHER NOTE: ratchet is in this au BUT the autobots got separated in the crash、so it took a while to repair red#he was much worse before ratchet got there (i love making him suffer)#also inferno specifically knows how to deal with glitches n stuff because hes a firefighter so he encountered it often back on cybertron#i dont know if firefighters actually learn how to help someone through a panic attack (pretty similar to red alerts glitches) but EEHH.
