Day 2 of Inktober, I tried to redraw the sketch from my note book, taking on the information from @yincira about ancient  dragons having feathered tails, it was a little sad looking them up and the first good image is them getting attacked by the golden dragons. Theres still mistakes with this, ah traditional art and your no undo button. I think at this rate Inktober is mainly going to be slayers related, because its what I enjoy drawing the most at the moment.

The challenge for May was to draw a character in the style of someone else. I chose Lina Inverse from Slayers in the style of Shaun Tan, although it seems to me that I really missed the mark with trying to imitate his style, especially with rendering.

ArtisteFish, I see all these posts of Zelame, but I never once see any Zelame art from you. What gives?

honestly, I just haven’t drawn them in so long that I feel out of practice with it. Of course the moment I started drawing them again it came back pretty quick, so hopefully that means I’ll draw them more often (which would be better than the ‘never’ that it’s been lately

so anyways, here’s some warm-up zelame from me:

Still kinda difficult right now, but I’ll keep practicing until I get used to drawing them again.

Really, I just need to go watch some Slayers.
