Now that you mention it... Robin and I have been discussing the possibility of bringing back old traditions!

We have stable living conditions now, but back in the day we moved a lot. We only settled in Pelican Town after Maru was born. And at that point we figured it would be beneficial to establish annual customs for each holiday, to help with her development.

As an example; I figured that baking gingerbread cookies before the Feast of the Winter Star would help develop little Maru's motor skills.

Plus, it sounded like fun for the family unit as a whole!
