Splitting is no stranger to those with DID, but I hope this helps someone out there understand this disorder a little better

"You can't just ignore, or be neutral about syscourse!"
Yes you can, just because somebody has a disability and wants to be involved in the community, doesn't mean they have to constantly fight with fakeclaimers, or endos, etc etc.
People are allowed to just chill out, have a nice time.
A lot of people cannot take threats and such, if they fight, they will be getting threats and such. I can handle threats, I can handle people being ignorant, but many people cannot handle that, and that is why they should not involve themselves in discourse.
I'm not claiming anybody is weak, systems are very strong people, and you won't ever be able to truly understand the horrors they went through that caused them to be one. They are the opposite of weak.
Don't feel invalid because you can't involve yourself in this constant war. Take a breather for yourself.

This is a personal opinion, but:
We need to get rid of the idea that switching is bad and should be avoided as much as possible, that the host is the "real" person, etc. Today my therapist and I realized that we function best when we switch more often. It's when I get frontstuck that our functionality goes downhill, because I'm stubborn and feel like I have to be the one doing everything. I inevitably wall off the others until I get burned out and cope poorly. In turn, everyone is affected negatively.
When we can effectively coordinate and trade off throughout the day, i.e. switch, we do infinitely better. We were not made like this so one alter (host) could learn to handle everything on their own. We are a team. Switching isn't a negative symptom. It's not a bad thing, but suppressing it is.
We are a collective, not a single "person," and we need to cooperate as such.

Why are systems held to a higher standard than singlets when it comes to anger?
When a singlet gets angry, it’s not brushed aside but it’s forgiven more quickly. They got mad, maybe it’s justified maybe it isn’t, but all it is is just them getting mad.
When a system gets angry, suddenly “oh you’re an evil alter!” People make accusations. You’re not allowed to get angry when you’re a system, because suddenly you’re dangerous. Suddenly you’re threatening. Suddenly you’ve done something unforgivable because you’re a system. And people can get as angry as they want at you, but that’s fine. As long as you never express anger back.

Yeah if people could stop acting weird about introjects and remember they’re talking to/about real people, that would be great

I, uhhh, sort of fell into an Among Us rabbit hole the last month. I made a BUNCH of Among Us assets for people to use in thumbnails or whatever that you can find and download here.
Anyways, sometimes you need an Emergency Hug and your crew shows up to support you. 2020 is a hard year, I miss you all.
