Albedo x Reader

Hi I’m back to drop this off then dip again till I get more motivation to continue ✌️😌

What is this feeling?

He asked himself again and again as he felt his heart pounding in his chest. He thought back to the moment that had just played out, you had reached over and gave him a gentle kiss on his cheek.

Just thinking about it made his face go warm and he’s knees grow weak.

Which was beyond unusual for the blond alchemist.

This was nothing like he had ever experienced before. The cautious man carefully thought out his next moves.

After failing to come to a conclusion he decided to head down to Mondstadt to find a certain blue haired Knight.

After walking through the city and finding the aforementioned man Albedo made sure to get straight to the point.

“Sir Kaeya, may I have a word with you?” Albedo inquires gaining the attention of the flirtatious man.

“Albedo, how many times must I tell you you can drop the formalities. Now, what can I do for you sir?” He asked with a slight grin evident on his face.

“You are experienced in the category of love aren’t you?” Albedo asked, quite seriously, not really picking up on the way that his question sounded to the Knight before him.

“Oh? And why is such information of use to you, you wouldn’t happen to want a hands on experience would you?” Kaeyas small smile had faded into a sly grin as he neared the oblivious alchemist. He knew Albedo had no interest in him but the thought of messing with him was quite amusing to Kaeya.

“Well, no. I seem to be showcasing symptoms of what I think may be love but since I am not exactly sure I decided it would be best to come to you.” Albedo explained. The blue haired knight nodded as he began to pity the short blonde man for decided he was the best choice.

“Well my dear friend, you’ve come to the right place. From the sounds of it you are in fact in love, and I have the perfect way to help, I just need to know who it is.” Kaeya turned to Albedo who was more than likely rethinking his life decisions up until this point.

After eventually spilling that it was in fact you that he had grown attached to Kaeya had gained a few ideas which were, in his words, guaranteed to succeed.

Before Albedo could back out Kaeya had already grabbed him and put his first plan into action.

To explain what Kaeyas “plan A” was, it was essentially kaeyas way of Saying “if you’ll act like me you’ll do fine”

So the plan turning out to be a disaster was already predetermined.

“Now you’re already quite cold and emotionless which isn’t really what most people want. I mean look at Diluc, that sad sack of unromantic slush couldn’t get a girlfriend even if he wanted to.” Kaeya said proudly, ignoring the fact that there were plenty who would gladly give themselves up for Diluc.

“So, smile more, be welcoming yet mysterious. Show emotions but none at all, look strong but be soft.” Kaeya continued, with each word that the Knight said only confused Albedo more and more.

“Love is very… contradictory.” He pointed out causing Kaeya to chuckle.

“You do what you must for love to prevail… or something, I read it in one of Lisa’s books once they’re quite entertaining to read.” As the infamous Calvary captain went on Albedo to realize just how much of a bad idea this was turning out to be.

But nonetheless he continued listening to the instructions he was being given.

Eventually Kaeya gave Albedo his plan and sent him off on his own to put it into action.

Albedo, who was quite nervous, decided against his better judgement to go through with the plan and walk up to you. Little did he know the Knight was not to far away eavesdropping in the conversation.

As he neared you and you finally caught sight of him you greeted him like normal, but much to your surprise he didn’t seem to be quite the same.

You couldn’t explain it but it felt as if he was holding himself differently.

He paused infront of you and carefully leaned on the wall and looked you dead in the eyes.

“You know, I find human anatomy quite fascinating, we should study it together sometime.”

He said in his best flirtatious tone. You had no idea if he was aware of what he was implying because you were quite used to him being blunt without realizing how, odd, his wording may sound.

“Sure I’d love to help you study, maybe we can finish the project you were working on yesterday!” You exclaimed which seemed to throw Albedo off a bit as he looked back at Kaeya.

Kaeya quickly thought of something and mouthed the words “Just flirt I have an idea” and quickly disappeared around the corner. This left Albedo confused and in a quite rough situation as you continued to stare at him, unsure of what he was looking at behind him.

Once you had regained his attention he decided to just wing it with everything Kaeya had briefly taught him.

“Your eyes are quite beautiful I couldn’t help but get lost in them.” Albedo said with the same flirtatious tone. It then hit you that he wasn’t just being blunt he was actually trying to flirt.

You didn’t know wether to be amused or concerned.

On one hand you wanted to see how far albedo could actually go before he would drop the act.

On the other hand you wondered what cause such a behavioural shift and why was he focusing it on you?

“Albedo, are you alright?” You asked slightly concerned, he nodded and paused for a few seconds almost like he was thinking of something.

“I feel better now that I get to see your lovely face.” He replied, subtly moving closer to you. You were more occupied with his mood switch than anything so you didn’t notice.

You were quite taken aback by how forward he was being and almost began to wonder if it was solely just an experiment he was working on.

He wouldn’t do that to you, would he?

He continued on with his blunt pick up lines as you grew more and more curious as to the reason behind the sudden shift.

Then you saw Albedo quickly glance to the right, you followed his gaze and locked eyes with a very particular Calvary Captain.

Suddenly everything clicked.

“Albedo, Is Kaeya making you say this?” You asked, looking back at the now slightly flustered blond.

“Well, yes… and no.” He began, dropping the flirtatious tone as he tried figuring out a way to explain.

“Meaning?” You asked, crossing your arms quite sternly. Yes you did find the whole ordeal amusing but you obviously did not like the idea of being played with for a joke.

“Well I was a bit confused about something, so I went to Kaeya to ask for help and… this was the way he told me he could help.” He explained, sounding slightly ashamed.

“And what was it that you were confused about?” For some reason you noticed that when you asked that question he suddenly slightly avoided eye contact which was very unlike him.

“Well I had noticed that ever since you gave me that small kiss on the cheek I was left with this very odd feeling.” He explained, you nodded following along.

“After a bit of research I had figured out that I was actually in love with you, and because I didn’t know how to go about it I went to Kaeya because of how knowledgeable… he is in that area…” He finished as he looked back at Kaeya who had creeped back around the corner as if you hide from his gaze.

It took a few moments for the pieces to click on your head,

“Wait did you just say, you’re in love with me?” You asked and he nodded nonchalantly in response as if that was not the whole reason behind his sudden mood change.

You could not handle your sudden excitement as you leaped at him and engulfed him in the biggest hug you cause possibly give.

He was a bit taken aback by your sudden action and almost lost his footing, his hands awkwardly hovered over you before they finally rested on your back as he gave you a tight reassuring squeeze.

You both stayed there happily until you heard a light chuckle coming from the corner

“See my dear friend, I told you it would work.” Kaeya said as he finally came from out behind his hiding spot. You couldn’t exactly disagree because it was his idea that brought you to this moment.

“Now, about that study session.”

Part 1

(Sentience AU)

It had been two days since ALL of your favorite Genshin characters had hopped out of your screen and into your world. However, they were all surprisingly tiny. You had to get used to life with these tiny strange characters and learn how to watch over and take care of each.

How do you go about normal life with such tiny beings that never want to leave you alone.

You woke up this morning to the sound of something crashing to the ground, you assumed it came from your kitchen so you grabbed an object to serve as a weapon as you neared the kitchen. As you turned the corner, you were greeted with a broken plate on the ground and several small characters scattering around frantically on the ground

They almost looked like mice.

“What happened here?” You asked with a yawn, still a bit dazed from your abruptly ended slumber.

“It was Dilucs idea.” Venti said quickly as he pointed to Diluc. The red head was clearly very fired up already as Venti scurried to hide behind you.

“Traveler, It was not my idea, I was trying to stop these two but things got out of hand.” Diluc explained with an exasperated sigh. You chuckled lightly at situation before you as you reached down to pick up the broken shards.

“There’s no need to explain yourself Diluc I understand. What were you three doing by the plates anyway?” You asked as you carefully put them on the counter so you could see them better without looking all the way down.

“Well, The bard complained that he was hungry, and we were the only two others that were awake. We didn’t want to wake you so we decided to try and do it ourselves.” Kaeya explained, you nodded, understanding as you continued to hastily pick up the shards.

“But when we tried to find something suitable enough to eat off of, or even eat to begin with, we ran into a bit of a problem when Venti decided he had a clever way if helping.” Diluc continued as he crossed his arms and looked at the arrogant bard who, upon first look, seemed as if he had done nothing wrong.

“I just thought that giving them a small gust of wind would help them move the plate, it’s not my fault they didn’t keep it from flying off the counter.” Venti said as he looked at the furious bartender.

“I don’t understand why you’re so upset ‘Master Diluc’, what’re you going to do, kick me out of your bar?” Venti said, cockily sticking his tongue out. He quite obviously found joy in annoying Diluc in such bizarre situations.

Before you could tell Venti to stop you saw Diluc summon his weapon and get ready to use his vision. Kaeya was only adding onto the situation by instigating along with Venti.

You quickly went to grab Diluc but as you did you had cut your finger on one of the shards you had been holding in your hand.

“Shit.” You cursed lowly, grabbing the attention of the three.

They all stopped their bickering as they saw the small drop of blood trail down your finger. The color drained from their faces as they all began to silently panic.

Did we cause that?

They all silently thought to themselves.

It wasn’t as big of a deal to you as it was to them. You just simply shrugged you shoulders and threw out the shards as you reached for a bandaid. When you had gone back over to the counter to get said bandaid you looked down to see Venti hysterically crying.

“IM SO SORRY TRAVELER I- WE DIDNT MEAN FOR YOU TO GRT HURT!” He bawled, crawling over to you and grabbing on to the fabric of your shirt.

You looked to Diluc and Kaeya who were visibly questioning the out of character bard. As diluc turned a bit to the side he noticed a bottle of wine that venti had smuggled out.

Meaning he was drunk.

“Guys, I’m fine I swear, It’s just a small cut.” You said with a chuckle, you didn’t think such a small thing would cause such a reaction.

“But we caused it.” Diluc said as Kaeya nodded in agreement.

“Well then this should be motivation for you three to get along.” You said which cause Kaeya to let out a laugh.

“It’s like a caretaker putting children in time out.” He laughed as both venti and diluc had turned to him. Venti began to snicker as well. Diluc shook his head as he looked back to you,

“We will try out best traveler.”

Hello, I really love your setience au, can you please write more for diluc, albedo, xiao, and Zhongli? If that's too much then you can pick whichever you comfortable writing the most 🥺 I want to know what are they going to do when they actually get out from the game

When they escape

(They’re regular sized)

Diluc

When Diluc finally makes it out of the game the first thing he does is just take in all of your features.

He’s not used to how you look but he doesn’t care.

He’s happy that he’s finally able to see you.

Although he does begin to worry about how quickly he jumped through without thinking about how it would effect the game and everyone in it.

But those thoughts quickly subsided when he realized that he was now standing in-front of you, not your character.

After taking in every aspect of you he slowly moves towards you and engulfs you in a tight hug, which obviously surprises you.

He is not normally one to show his love through physical affection but he couldn’t help himself at this moment.

And from then on he never left your side. He never wanted to be a burden to you but he wanted to be there at all times to be able to protect you whenever he could.

He’d try his best to make a good impression even though he knows he doesn’t really have to. He’d help you with anything you need without hesitation.

Diluc would be confused by any and all technology, he would never really get the hang of it so he just avoids it.

He cant really use his vision or his claymore, so although not much has changed he has to learn his way around certain problems.

Now the question is, how do you explain to your friends and family that you have a red headed man staying with you.

Albedo

When Albedo makes it out he is interested in everything he sees, including you.

Not one thing in your world is the same as in his.

The first thing he does is he asks,

“Do you mind if I sketch you?” As he pulled out his sketchbook out of no where.

He draws everything he sees that interest him, most of he’s drawings end up being you anyway. Seeing as you do not look like your character it takes him a bit to get used to the difference but he’s happy to be with you regardless.

Technology is something his fascinated by, you can do so much with a small little box that you can fit your pocket.

He finds it quite interesting.

“I’m still able to use my vision, but you don’t have one, Interesting.” He mutters as he writes down what he learned.

You adored his fascination with everything, from small trinkets you have lying about to things as big as cars and planes.

“So, how does ‘blue tooth’ work? How does it connect to something on the other side of the wall? How are you able to send things from one object to the other? Why is the tooth blue?”

He asks you about these things as if you know everything about your world.

However, although he is fairly interested in the world around him, you seem to take up a fair bit of his focus as well.

Wether he would openly admit it or not.

Xiao

Xiao finally makes it out and immediately he is unsure about his impulsive decision.

Although his is finally with you like what he wanted he regrets leaving behind all of his responsibilities. It would take quite a while before Xiao would even allow the thought of his whole life being a lie to cross his mind.

But can you really blame him?

You try your best to cheer him up by making almond tofu and you fail miserably. He appreciated the effort even if he can’t really show it very well.

He’s quite grumpy all the time, you often catch him just sitting down and staring at the wall. A slightly sad expression lightly rests on his face constantly, when you snap him out if it he pretends like it’s nothing and tries to push you away.

He can’t really use his vision to protect himself so he is often very jumpy.

A few times you’ve popped up behind him for a light joking scare only to dodge his incoming fist that was heading at you at the speed of light.

He’s never actually hit you once he’s realized it’s just you. When he does realize it’s you he ends up lecturing you about not scaring him because it could’ve lead to you getting seriously hurt. You just laugh it off and continue doing it anyway.

He’s constantly on the look out to protect you, as much as he doesn’t want to admit it.

Anytime you want to leave the house he insists that he must go with you.

That is until you tell him you’re going through a crowded area and he decides waiting for you to come back is the best option.

Sentience Au

Pocket edition (Part 2)

Zhongli

“Osmanthus wine tastes the same as I remember, But where are those who share that memory.” Your favorite character said as you stood still, just admiring the character you had just received.

You had rolled randomly and miraculously had managed to get zhongli, it made no sense but you weren’t complaining.

For the past 15 minutes you have just been standing there, admiring the details on the man before you. His chest lightly moving up and down as he breathed in and out.

“Ugh why is he so HOT.” You exclaimed leaning back on your chair. You had yet to realize the actual Zhongli had been watching you just stand there for these long minutes.

You had stopped looking at the screen as you had gotten up to get a drink of water, having no idea what would be waiting for you when you came back.

When you had gotten the water you took a sip, but then your calm moment was interrupted by a small crash from your room.

You were home alone.

You carefully put down the glass as to not make any noise as you grabbed an object to help as a weapon.

You made your way to your room and slowly opened the door. It creaked open ever so slowly as you glanced into the room.

You saw a few objects that were previously on your desk, now scattered on your floor.

You opened the door wider as you carefully walked to the pile.

You dropped your guard as you went to pick some of the things up, that is, until it moved.

You immediately jumped back as the pile moved and groaned lightly.

You held what ever object you had taken as a weapon in front of you as the pile moved more.

Something had finally rose from the pile fully, covered in a veil of fabric. A tiny gloved hand went to grab the fabric and threw it off.

“Perhaps taking a full leap of faith with no plan was not a good idea.” The figure said as they brushed themselves off.

They had turned to you as you finally got a good look at the tiny figure in front of you.

You recognized his ash brown hair almost immediately,

“Zhongli?” You barely managed to utter out as you dropped the object you were holding.

“Hello, Traveler.” He said politely as he moved out of the pile, “Ah, I must apologize for the mess, I didn’t realize I’d take so many things with me on my way out.”

You nodded out of disbelief. Your eyes, glued to the tiny man in front of you.

“It seems I didn’t factor in the height difference either.” He muttered, lightly bringing his hand to his chin.

You carefully leaned down to the tiny man, getting a closer look. He looked at you with a warm smile.

“Your eyes are quite beautiful.” He complimented, you smiled in response. You held your hand out as he climbed on, holding onto your finger.

“I’ve waited so long to finally meet you.”

Childe

“Tar-Tartaglia, lover of Snezhnayan.” You hummed to yourself as your character ran around Liyue Harbor. You were pretty bored and had nothing else to do with your day.

You always loved the sights of Liyue. Although the enemies were quite annoying, the scenery makes up for it.

A few times you have just stood on the highest part of Liyue Harbor and just watched the sunset.

A few times your “comrade” Childe would join you. Because you already progressed through his story he has nothing else to do as well.

Sometimes he’ll be off on his own fighting some enemies for you but more often than not he’s right by your side.

He adores your presence, it makes him feel needed now that he has come to terms with the fact everything around him wasn’t real.

Although you really couldn’t do or say much, you still brought a certain joyful feeling that the 11th Harbinger didn’t want to let go of.

He wanted to be by you at all times.

No matter what.

And that’s what he set out to do.

You were lightly humming to yourself another song that had something to do with the infamous Tartaglia.

You had left your computer open so that when you wanted to go back to the game you wouldn’t have to open the game back up again.

As you continued on with whatever activity you were currently occupied with you failed to notice a certain tiny Fatui Harbinger that had literally walked out of your screen.

“Comrade?” The man asked causing you to jolt around on surprise, as far as you knew you were alone.

When you turned around you locked eyes with the Harbinger. You couldn’t look away, you had no idea how this was happening, was it even possible?

“Childe?” He nodded as you moved towards him.

“How did you? Why are you? When? Huh?” You rambled in disbelief as the small harbinger chuckled.

He was right about your joyous presence. You seemed to just naturally carry it and he loved it.

“I’ll answer all of your questions the best I can Traveler.” He said excitedly as you leaned over a bit to pick him up.

“Nice place you have here.” He complimented as he looked around at everything.

“Oh really? Um, thanks!” You replied, still trying to wrap your head around the fact that you are now holding one of the Fatui Harbingers in your hand.

“This is going to be great! Ah I cant wait to spend more time with you.” He exclaimed, turning back to you.

You nodded with a smile, ignoring every problem that could possibly come with this little man. Those didn’t matter right now, All that matter was that he was here with you.

For how long? Who knows but Childe wants to make sure he stays with you, forever.

Pronoun Acceptance

Childe:

“No.”

I’m kidding-

“Okay, I’ll keep that in mind. I’ll have to think of a new nickname for you though.” He playfully added.

Zhongli:

“Ah yes, of course I understand.”

He’d lean over to childe and whisper.

“What is a pronoun?”

Kaeya:

“Interesting, well I’ll be sure to keep that in mind next time we meet.” Hed give you a light kiss on the forehead with a soft smile.

Diluc:

He was the one who asked you, he had overheard some people talking about how they didn’t respect pronouns, as well as a bunch of other awful things. So he wanted to make it known that his tavern did not condone that sort of behaviour. And by doing so, he politely asks your pronouns to make sure you’re comfortable.

Venti:

“Ah sure! I’ll be sure to remember that Traveler!” He said, taking another swig from his wine.

Albedo:

“Is this part of a new experiment you’re conducting?”

You shake your head and explain how you’re sure these are the pronouns you want to go by. He nods, understanding and giving you and light pat on the head with a smile.

Xiao:

“Why should I care?” He asked rhetorically.

It wasn’t the worst thing he could’ve possibly said, although his lack of open acceptance slightly hurt you. As much as you wanted to say you knew xiao, you still had a hard time deciphering his emotions. So you didn’t know if he really didn’t care or not.

It wasn’t until he had lightly scoffed causing you to look at him.

“I’ll make sure to remember.” He said, not making direct eye contact with you at all.

Xinyan:

“Awesome dude! I’ll make sure to remember!” She said, excitement radiating off of her.

Barbara:

“Ah okay! My sincerest apologizes if I slip up. Please correct me if you catch me!”

Bennet:

“Oh cool! I go by he/him!” He replied, he knows all to well how it feels to be left out, so he wants to make sure you feel as safe as possible with him. The last thing he would ever want is to make you uncomfortable for something as basic as your pronouns.

Beidou:

“Got it. It might take a bit of getting used to but I got your back.” She said, playfully nudging your shoulder with a playful smile.

I got some thoughts so i hope u don't mind me ranting here hehe

But here's the thing, if the character somehow got to our world and found out that their life was created by someone for ppl to pass time and entertain themselves, what would be their reaction to the fandom (fics, ships, reader insert stuff, fanart and other fan made stuff), the creator (and them getting profit or being responsible for their suffering and creating them the way they are? Like flaws/ appearance/ personality n that shit), the gatcha, other characters that they knew, and just generally to the whole thing about them being a fictional character from a game in a different world

Diluc

“So, what you’re saying is I’m from a video game, and I am a very desired character. And because of this many people draw pictures of me.” He asks, standing with his hand on his chin as he tried to process this.

You nodded and you got your phone and looked up a simple

“Diluc fanart”

And showed him the results.

He was a little put off now knowing that there were so many people watching him at all times. Not only were they were watching him but they liked him enough to draw him.

“Well, they all are very talented, but why is this one titled ‘Daddy Diluc’ with my shirt off?” He asked, and you snatched your phone from a him as quick as possible and closed out of whatever file or photo album he scrolled to.

With a nervous laugh you turned back to him hiding your phone, not wanting to admit to what he had seen.

“How about we look at some fanfics instead.” You suggested, changing tabs on your phone. You showed him the Tumblr thread as he began to scroll.

“And these are-?” He asked as he looked back at you.

“Stories about you and other characters, or somethings you and the person reading. Those are called self inserts.” You explained, he nodded, slightly understanding until he had scrolled to an NSFW story.

“What does NSFW stand for?” He asked, you shot up from your chair and smacked the phone out of his hand as quickly as possible.

“Okay maybe that’s not a good idea either.” You laughed nervously again as Diluc stared at you curiously. As far as he was concerned NSFW was just a couple of meaningless letters thrown together, but your reaction makes him think it was obviously more than that.

“How about I explain it this way. Because you’re a very desired character, many people are attracted to you,” You began. He nodded, understanding.

“myself included,” you mumbled, he didn’t catch it so you cleared your throat and continued.

“Many of them make art of you and other characters together and more often than not it’s because of a ship.”

Right at that moment you completely lost him. He looked at you confused,

“What do boats have anything to do with this?” He asked, his eyebrows were furrowed together as he tried to think of a logical way that a mode of water transport would have anything to do with him and other characters.

“No no, this kind of ship is a pairing of you and another character, like a relationSHIP.”

Diluc nodded in response,

“So wait, people pair me with other characters? Like who?” He asked, you sighed knowing the question was going to come up sooner or later.

“Well-“ you began as you listed off every person he had been shipped with. As you went on Dilucs face began to contort out of confusion and slight disgust.

“Just... don’t ask and we can both forget about it.” You suggested and he nodded in agreement.

“Gladly.”

Kaeya

“Well this is... interesting.” The blue haired man muttered as he had scrolled through the object that he held in his hands.

He had just seen it lying face up on the counter and his curiosity got the better of him.

And he was very surprised by what he saw.

Just, pages and pages and pages of him in different poses with different people, in varying levels of... intensity.

He was very confused at first, unsure of how to respond but as he wen through he realized each post had a red heart underneath it.

What could that possibly mean?

As he scrolled through he eventually got into the works of writing, all with the same ‘Kaeya x reader’ underneath their titles.

Before he could scroll any farther he heard the door creak open as you walked into the room with a warm joyous smile on your face.

Well until you saw Kaeya with your phone.

“Kaeya, why do you have my phone?” You asked, he looked down at the bright object then back at you.

“So that’s what it’s called, well you did just leave it open so I decided to have a look.” He admitted with a shrug.

You quickly snatched it from him and looked at it realizing he had been through all your posts that you had saved under the label ‘Kaeya’.

Your heart pace quickened out of embarrassment,

“How much did you see?” You asked, he chuckled and moved closer to you, he lightly lifted you chin so you’d look at him, he leaned into your ear and whispered,

“You seem to like me in some interesting positions.” He teased, and let go of your face.

You covered your face, not wanting to look at him.

“Oh, don’t be shy now, its quite cute that you like me that much. I find it, oddly endearing.” He admitted, patting your head lightly.

You finally took your head out of your hands as you looked up at him. He smiled at you as he leaned in close to your face yet again.

“Although, you should be more careful about having your ‘phone’ open to such a... suggestive image.” He teased yet again as you backed up from your face and walked out of the room.

You looked down at your phone which screen has been dimmed a bit, as you raised the brightness you saw a picture of Kaeya you definitely would not be able to unsee for a long while.

Zhongli

Zhongli is definitely a fan of stories,

But the stories he found were definitely not the ones he had in mind.

You didn’t know how to explain to Zhongli that he’s from a game and people all over the internet love and adore him, without showing him.

He doesn’t even know what technology is, let alone the fact people use it to create artwork of him.

“Traveler, I apologize if this is a bit odd, but I saw you looking at some paintings of me on your phone item. How do you have so many? Did you make them also yourself? You’re quite talented if so.” He asked, as you looked from him, to your phone, then back up to him.

He was just patiently standing infront of you, waiting for an answer.

You sighed slightly as you put down whatever you were doing and grabbed your phone.

“Oh, I’m sorry, was that not something I was supposed to bring up?” He asked, confused by your reaction.

You shook your head as you patted the spot next to you, gesturing for him to sit down next to him.

“No no, you were going to find out sooner or later.” You said as he politely sat down next to you and faced you, ready to listen to whatever story or explanation you were going to give him.

As you explained he asked a few questions, which you answered as best you could.

After you explained how the world Zhongli came from was not exactly real, he was just a character in a video game, and because of that, many people around the world love him and make things to show their love and appreciation for him.

He nodded, trying to understand,

“Well that’s definitely not what I expected. I’ve always had some sort of following but this, admittedly was not what I expected. So all of these people know about Rex Lapis?” He asked, to which you nodded in response.

“I see, well. There’s not much I can to about it now I suppose.” He said, turning back to you with a slight sigh. All the effort putting into hiding and it was, somewhat for nothing.

Liyue was going to have to learn how to be on their own regardless, so leaving wasn’t going to affect them to much, which was comforting to him.

“Thank you, traveler, for answering my question. I understand it was probably hard to explain this to me but I believe I understand now.” He thanked, you nodded accepting it and smiled at him.

However, your smile faltered when you saw Zhongli so lost in thought. You supposed it was because he basically left behind the only thing he’s every known.

You lightly put your hand on his shoulder, snapping him out of his thoughts.

“Hey, Why don’t we make some tea, I feel like you’d want to try these flavours.” You said, as he looked back over to you, he recognized this as a way to cheer him up and appreciated it.

“That would be wonderful.”

Kaeya teases you about it CONSTANTLY.

Diluc

Diluc is a bit taken aback at first, he’s unsure about seeing himself being used by someone else, especially with such a different demeanour.

Although he’s impressed by how much damage you allow him to do to the point where he can just sit back and watch you deal with everything.

Zhongli

Be honest you play him just to look at his butt.

And he KNOWS this too.

He just stands and watches calmly as you just stay in one spot on the wall that you began climbing only to jump back off after a period of time without going anywhere.

Childe

You often fight Childe as Childe cause you find it funny. He isn’t extremely weirded out by it but he often gets confused when he forgets that you’re him and he sees himself sprinting straight towards him.

It’s definitely an odd experience for him.

Albedo

Albedo is just left to wonder why you only really change to him when you need to climb somewhere. It’s quite odd to him but he doesn’t question it, maybe he climbs the fastest? Perhaps you just like using him to climb?

We’ll never know.

Venti

SLIGHT SPOILER WARNING FOR VENTIS STORY

Venti is honestly a tad bit put off by it when he sees you as him because all he sees is his friend.

It’s him

But it’s not.

He doesn’t really know how to feel about it. He has noticed that you have similar mannerisms to his friend which is endearing but also hurts. He just tries to ignore it and remind himself that it’s you, not him.

Xiao

You know damn well when you pulled xiao you built him immediately. Normally xiao goes around and helps you with different things and carries you because he’s basically able to do whatever he wants since he broke the game.

But now that you have xiao that’s not needed.

You just constantly go on rampages on everything, but you don’t use the ult out of fear of hurting him, knowing the amount he’s gon through already. He notices you don’t use his ult and kind of finds it pointless since half the time it’s the one thing that’ll end your battle FAR quicker than if you used someone else’s.

I’m curious now about your sentience au. What would Venti or Zhongli think about their situation? How would they go about their limited time with you (or the traveller). Would they aim to pull you in? Or get out?

Sentience Au

Venti

Venti would be pretty clingy, but he’s aware of it and tries not to let it get out of control. He knows you have a life outside of Teyvat and as much as he just wants to jump out and hug you he doesn’t want add more work on you.

Much like Mondstadt he wants you to have your own freedom and although you do play with him very often that’s on your own time out of your own free will, and he doesn’t want to affect that by forcing himself into your daily life.

But that definitely won’t stop him from making the most of the time you’re with him.

When you’re gone, Venti goes adventuring any place he can to find new things to show you when you come back. He’ll find chests for you, or good hiding spots for you when you play in co-op mode.

He makes sure that whenever you come on you’ll have the best time so that way you never get bored of hanging with him.

The thought of finding a way out of the game constantly crosses his mind but he never acts on it.

Besides, what if he joins you in your world and you don’t want him there, what does he do then?

He constantly decides against it out of his love and respect for you, he may seem impulsive and a bit cocky but he knows better than to just barge into your life with little to no warning.

Zhongli

Zhongli on the other hand, does not think about being a burden or not. He has no idea where to start when it comes to leaving the game but he had a wild idea of how to get you in the game.

He had no idea if it was even going to work but he had to try. Liyue was starting to feel a bit lonely to him every time you would leave, so it made him wonder how it would feel if you never left.

And today was the day he was going to try to get you to stay with him.

You had joined him in liyue and greeted him like normal. You had no idea what he had planned today.

“Good morning Traveler.” He said as he looked at your character with a smile. You hopped up and down to gesture a hello.

You circled around as you waited for him to tel you what he had planned for today.

“I heard you’ve gotten a camera from Ji Tong.” He started, you hopped to gesture a yes.

“Can you use it for a moment, I would like to see what it looks like.” He said, you pulled out the camera and aimed it at zhongli. He smiled as he moved closer to it.

Then out of no where he began to reach his hand through the camera lens. You questioned what he was doing until you say a faint yellow color coming from your screen as it began to spiral, suddenly the yellow spot opened and a gloved hand emerged from it.

You looked from the hand to Zhongli as he smiled at you.

“Take my hand, my dear.” He said as he reached it towards you, you hesitated at first but eventually grabbed it.

You held on as he pulled you in through your screen, you closed you eyes, expecting to just hit your screen, but instead you were met by the embrace of two arms wrapped around you.

You looked up at Zhongli, his eyes were wide as he examined your features.

“It worked, It really worked.” He said as he held you tighter. You on the other hand had NO idea how to react to this but hugged him back regardless.

“I’m glad you’re finally here.”

So uh about that Sentience Au.. See I can only play genshin 3 days a week for 6 hours due to me playing it in my grandmother's high end phone, and my phone being absolutely laggy when I even try to open genshin.

It makes me wonder how they would feel if I left them for that long and only come back for short periods of time. Would they be mad at me? Would they feel like I'm abandoning them?

(I apologize for them being such short hc’s but I really didn’t know how to make them full on scenarios without them being slightly repetitive)

Sentience Au HCs

Characters included:

Childe, Xiao, Albedo, Venti, Zhongli, Diluc, Kaeya

Because you can’t clearly communicate that you won’t be active as much they are obviously left fairly confused as to why you haven’t been going on as often.

They try not to pester you about it knowing you can’t answer but it always eats away at them.

The begin to think that you’ve lost interest in them as you go on less and less.

Eventually they do start to notice a parents however. When you do go on you spend a good amount of time with them, so the idea of you losing interest couldn’t be it.

Then what is?

Childe

Childe would take notice of your absence, if a pattern starts to show, he won’t be as worried about it.

As long as you always come back, that is.

He’d make sure to make every moment when you’re online count, making sure you make the best of your time together as if it your last.

Xiao

Xiao would look to be very angry every time you return after leaving for so long, but the anger wears off after getting to spend time with you.

Albedo

Albedo would wonder what you could be doing that would be keeping you away for so long. If anything he’s just more interested in the fact that you have a life in another world and you can hop in out of both with ease.

Venti

Venti would be worried at first, but when you come back and hang out with him he is reassured that you don’t want to leave him just as much as he doesn’t want to leave you.

Zhongli

Zhongli would be unsure how to feel at first. He would be very behind when it comes to the explanation as to why you were leaving so often. He would not be angry but it would irritate him that he could not get an answer from you although he knows that is not your fault.

Diluc

Diluc would just patiently wait for you when you leave, he knows you come back every time you leave. However there is always that slight moment where he worries,

“What if they don’t come back.”

When you do come back he forgets his worries as you drag him on small little adventures through Mondstadt.

Kaeya

Kaeya wouldn’t exactly be mad but he wouldn’t be happy about your constant disappearance. He knows you can’t tell him why but he still just wants answers. When you join back on you can tell there’s something off, just slightly, but you just push it off saying it’s because he’s a sentient video game character so that’s probably what’s off.

what if, whatever, character manages to escape but what if they were tiny. like the same character size on the device you play on.

They Escape the Game (Part 1)

(Pocket Edition)

Characters included in this part:

Xiao, Diluc, Kaeya

(I may make a PC version but it will more than likely just be HC’s because the only thing that would change would be the slight change in height)

Xiao

It took everything in him to finally decide to leave everything he knows behind and take a leap of faith out of the game. All he’s every known has been Genshin and ONLY genshin. So when he had finally gotten out of it he was more than surprised by what he saw.

When he had made it out, the first thing he was met by

Was you.

Except, you were h u g e.

You looked down at the tiny person in front of you who had just literally hopped out of your screen.

As you took a closer look your realized it was xiao.

HA, that can’t be right, right?

You went to poke him to make sure you weren’t just making it up but right before you did you felt his tiny hands push against yours a-bit.

“What are you doing?” He asked with his usually annoyed tone. Your eyes widened as you realized, this was in fact xiao. He just, popped out of your game.

You left the palm of your hand open as he hesitantly climbed on. You carefully raised him closer to your face as he grabbed onto your thumb to secure himself on your hand.

“Xiao?” You asked.

“Who else would it be.” He retorted, taking a quick glance at the very large objects around him. He was used to the large mountains in Liyue but nothing of this size.

Having the tiny man in the palm of your hand was such a weird feeling but you had to admit his tiny angry face did look adorable. You gently placed him back down as you began to think.

“How are you even here?”

“...” no response came from the tiny yaksha as he looked away, seemingly avoiding the question. He looked around your room a bit more and noticed that you had his mask on your wall.

“How did you get that.” He asked as he pointed to it, looking back down towards his hip where his now tiny mask still remained.

“Oh, this was a gift from a friend of mine.” You said as you carefully took it down and placed it in-front of him.

Carefully he stood on top of the mask and admired the detail, it was accurate to the one he had, which was impressive but he dare not say that out loud. He lightly hopped off the mask as he looked back at your phone that now had an empty space where he had been.

His mind did start to wander as he thought about how literally all he knew was essentially

A lie.

Not wanting to think about it to much he turned back towards you.

“Traveler... pick me up.” He demanded as his now outstretched hands wrapped around your finger as you lifted him back up to your face.

“I am now going to stay with you to protect you at all times. No, you do not have a say in this.” He proclaimed as you lightly chuckled.

“What’re you going to protect me with, a toothpick?” You joked and xiao pulled out his spear and lightly poked your finger, not enough to make you bleed but it still hurt causing you to almost drop him.

“Didn’t think that through, did you.” You laughed.

Going about daily life wasn’t too hard with Xiao always around. You found different places to hide him so if someone walked in they wouldn’t see him.

When going outside you attempted putting him in your pocket but it was a bit to much of a tight fit for him to stick his head out well. So you decided to get a small empty bag.

He’s often very quiet throughout the day, just enjoying being around you finally. He didn’t even care about how you looked he just wanted to be around you especially now that he’s in a huge world full of unfamiliar things.

Diluc

At first Diluc was unsure about dropping everything and leaving, since there was no guarantee of him getting back if he felt homesick. However, this thought was overruled when you had joined the game again.

He wasn’t one to just jump head first into things but this time he was sure about what he wanted to do. And before you could even do your normal greeting he had leaped from the screen.

He didn’t think about the fact that he had no idea where he was going to end up when he jumped through but that question was quickly answered when he landed in your face.

You immediately swatted at you face, thinking it was a bug, not caring to open your eyes and look at who it actually was.

Diluc hung on for dear life as you finally swatted him off but he luckily landed on the pillow in-front of you.

As you rubbed your mouth hoping to get the feeling of what you thought was a bug off your mouth you finally heard it.

“Traveler?” The voice said. It was a strong voice and sounded, a bit far away. You looked around for the voices host, but saw no one. Until you looked down at the pillow in front of you and noticed the small redhead who was standing there.

You had no idea what to say, this isn’t real right? But it’s so convincing. He practically look as if he was actually there.

“Diluc?” You asked hesitantly as he looked back up at you. This was the first time he had ever seen you face to face, you were a lot bigger than he had thought you were going to be but he found your features beautiful nonetheless.

You carefully put your hand down for him to climb up and he did. He held onto your thumb go slight security as you lifted him up to get a closer look, and sure enough, it was Diluc, down to every last detail.

“Oh my goodness it really is you! Why are you so small?” You asked, he shrugged his shoulders and turned back to look at the thing he popped out of which was your phone.

“Well I’m assuming since I come through that portal object over there, I ended up being no bigger than that size.” He said as you put him carefully back down on the phone.

“What is this thing anyways?” He asked as he tapped the sword attack button on your screen causing your character to attack.

“Ah, so that’s how you did it. I will admit this is a little bit weird for me.” He said as he turned back towards you.

“Are you still able to bring out your weapon and everything?” You asked and he nodded and drew his weapon. You were amazed to say the least. Your favorite character literally just popped out of your game.

“This is amazing! I can’t believe you’re here, how did you even manage to get out? Do you plan to go back? How would you even get back?” You rambled on with more and more questions as Diluc just calmly watched you as a small smile graced his features.

He didn’t care about getting back right now, all he cares about was that he was finally with you.

Kaeya

Your day had been pretty rough. Nothing was going right from the beginning so when you finally got back home you decided to just sit down and play Genshin.

When you entered you had realized Kaeya wasn’t in his usual spot which confused you but you decided to do a few quests before questioning it.

Eventually you had just gotten to the point in the Lantern Rite where you had to talk to Kaeya and you were ECSTATIC.

You made your way from Liyue to Mondstadt as fast as you could. And from a distance you could see the marker as it counted down the closer you got to it. As you made your way to fountain there he was.

He smiled at your presence as you ran around him in circles, trying your best to say hi. You stopped in front if him and went through the quest dialogue, praying to Barbatos that he wouldn’t disappear after wards, and lucky enough for you he didn’t!

You hopped up and down out if pure joy.

Kaeya chuckled a bit at your excitement as he put his hands on your characters shoulders to stop them from hopping.

“I have a little surprise for you, I’ve been working on it for a while. I need you to wait here.” He said as he backed up from your character. You watched him as he just disappeared.

“The hell?” You asked out loud, what kind of surprise was this? You expected him to appear back in front of you in game but it never happened.

You waited a little bit expecting something to happen, yet nothing did. Until you were met face to face with the blue haired Calvary captain.

Not expecting the sudden figure to just appear in-front of you freaked out and jumped up from where you were seated, cause Kaeya to go flying.

Luckily it was that far of a distance and he managed to land safely.

“Kaeya?” You asked, thinking you might’ve just had your phone to close to your face.

“Surprise!” He said, climbing back up your chair. He landed on a space where you both could see each other as he finally got a good look at your face.

You had no idea what to say as you looked at the tiny captain in-front of you. He still did some of his idle animations as he stood, waiting for your response.

“How did you get out?” You asked him, leaning down towards him a bit.

“I have my ways.” He replied. It’s Kaeya, did you really expect a full detailed answer? He looked around your room, taking in the new surroundings. It was nothing like he had seen in Mondstadt, for one thing there was technology.

This was entirely new to him, and there didn’t seem to be any weapons anywhere.

Your entire room was practically the size of Mondstadt to him.

“I must say, I didn’t actually think this would work, but I’m glad I could finally meet you.” He smiled, you smiled back, still unsure of what was happening and questioning if you should make an appointment with an eye doctor.

“How long have you been trying for?” You asked looking down at him, he paused as he thought of his answer, the time difference in your world was drastic from that of Teyvat.

“Well it’s hard to say but I have tried maybe, 25-30 times before. I was starting to lose hope if I’m being honest.” He admitted. You had no idea he was this dedicated to getting out of the game

To see you.

It was flattering but also a bit scary to think your favorite character has wanted to meet you just as much as you wanted to meet him.

“This height difference nah be a problem though.” He pointed out with a chuckle.

“We’ll figure something out I’m sure.” You responded

Sentience Au

Childe

Childe would absolutely DESPISE IT.

Normally while playing the game you’d try your best to gesture certain things to talk to him. Circling around flowers, skipping around places, if he asked a question you’d jump for yes and move side to side for no, When you’d spawn in you’d circle around him to say hi.

He found everything you did adorable especially when you’d stop moving for a second to try and figure out how to convey what you wanted to say.

However, when you stopped it all together and just went on your way doing tasks and commissions without even looking at him.

It pissed him off to say the VERY least.

At first he was beyond confused. He thought you couldn’t see him and began to freak out slightly. But when he went in front of your character and you purposely turned away from him he knew it wasn’t a glitch.

But he was still confused.

Why we’re you ignoring him? Did he do something wrong? Were his questions to personal to quick? He had no idea why you were avoiding him.

Eventually as the days went on his confusion turned to frustration.

Why won’t you answer him?

Just look at him.

Please?

No matter how annoyed he was he didn’t want to leave your side. He was always there even if he was pouting like a baby who had gotten their candy taken from them.

He knew even if you wanted to answer there was no way he could really get a full answer for why you were ignoring him.

What you didn’t know is that when you fought the boss Childe, he had no control over what items were given. If he could he would just load you with all the five stars he possibly could.

But being understanding can only go so far with someone like Childe.

Four days in and he was ready to snap.

You had just logged in as usual and were about to do your first task without acknowledging Childe. However that’s not what Childe had in mind.

Before you could open your map to teleport, childe had pushed your character against the closest wall which had glitches your camera to go into first person. This GREATLY confused you as you looked at your screen, the redhead in front of you was visibly FUMING.

To display your confusion you went to the camer and made you character do their thinking pose.

“You know what’s wrong.” He said blatantly.

You replayed the pose to indicate you had no idea what he was talking about.

“You mean you don’t remember how you’ve been ignoring me for the past four days.” He said, practically gritting his teeth.

You changed your characters face to a smiling one as you began to walk away, only to be grabbed by childe yet again.

“Oh no. You’re not ignoring me anymore.”

Albedo

The fateful day finally came.

The day he figured how to get out. It didn’t come easily and he had no idea what would happen if he managed to get out but it was a sacrifice he was willing to make. He wanted to be able to be around you and this was the only way without waiting hours a day for you to come back.

He eventually started his process of leaving the game right as you were getting online. When you had finally loaded in you loaded in right in front of albedo.

Before you could gesture a greeting he disappeared.

“Huh that’s weird.” You said to yourself as circled around the area of the base where albedo was. He never disappeared randomly so you were just a bit worried but didn’t want to complicate things so you decided to start you commissions.

As you clicked the button to open up the map you felt a gloved hand touch you shoulder gently. You immediately turned around, not knowing what to expect, reading to throw hands if need be.

However who you saw was not at all what you expected.

It’s was the blonde alchemist Albedo.

You didn’t know what to say, and neither did he. He didn’t even know if he could speak without his voice lines so he decided to attempt to say Hello.

“H-he-H-hello” He said, unintentionally stuttering. Knowing he could actually speak without voice lines was exhilarating as he looked back to you, your jaw was practically on the floor.

Your favorite character, not only gained sentience, but managed to LEAVE THE GAME SUCCESSFULLY?

You HAD to be dreaming

You slowly stood up and looked at the blonde man in front of you. You slowly reached your hand out and softly caressed his cheek, making sure he was there and you weren’t just hallucinating.

“Oh my goodness your REAL. How is this- how did you you- there’s no way.” You said as you sat back down in shock.

“It worked.” He said with a relieved sigh.

Childe

You had noticed that every time you played, Childe was always by your side. He was there when you spawned in and he was there when you left.

There was not a singular moment when you weren’t with him.

While playing the game at least.

But now, little did you know he was going to make sure he was a l w a y s with you. Every hour of everyday.

You were unaware of his plans to escape so when you came home to find him waiting patiently on the couch you understandably freaked out.

“Who are you and why are you in my house?” You shouted, grabbing whatever you could out of your bag to serve as self defence.

“You mean you don’t recognize me?” He said in a teasing manner as he got up and walked towards you.

As he walked towards you, you finally took a look at what he was wearing.

His grey outfit and red hair finally clicked in your head.

It was Childe.

He made it out of the game. How? When? Why is he here? Did that mess with the game? Are you hallucinating? This has to be a dream.

You examined him, taking in every detail, analyzing him trying to process if what was standing before you was real or not.

When he finally made his way in-front of you he lightly grabbed your chin and made you look him in the eyes.

“I’ve waited a long time to finally see you.”

Well since you are an adventurer from the city of freedom you’re not used to such a cold and harsh climate like that of Dragonspine. You had already taken this into account when you had agreed to help Albedo with his work, however the blonde alchemist did not.

Since he was so used to working in the cold environment his body really wasn’t affected to badly by the cold.

However, yours was.

When you first stepped foot into Dragonspine the Sheer cold hit you IMMEDIATELY, not to mention you already had Fatui members on your ass and they were not as easy to beat as the ones in Liyue.

The entire way up to Albedos camp you we’re freezing, you didn’t want it to show as not to make Albedo worry but you were practically a maraca with the amount you were shaking. This affect didn’t go unnoticed by the alchemist and as soon as you got to his camp he lit a fire for you and gestured for you to sit down near it.

It wasn’t extremely affective but it worked.

You looked around you at the frosty camp before you. Books were scattered everywhere but still managed to keep their own neat piles, a chalkboard with what seemed like a drawing attached to it, a crafting table along with a few empty potion bottles stacked neatly and labeled.

You went to grab one but the moment you did you felt a pain shoot through your hand. Not an unbearable one but enough to catch you a bit by surprise and quick withdraw your hand from the potion bottle.

You looked at your hands that were both covered in cracked skin and dried blood due to the cold. You didn’t want Albedo to worry so you quickly slapped some bandages on and called it a day. This also didn’t go unnoticed as Albedo looked at your newly wrapped hands with confusion .

“Are you alright?” He asked, gesturing towards the bandages.

You nodded quickly as you turned back to the fire, pretty much ignoring his questions. He again took notice to this as he walked up behind you and ever so gently grabbed your hand.

This action took you by surprise as you let out the slightest gasp causing him to let go quickly.

“I apologize, I didn’t mean to hurt you. It’s just, your bandages seem to be a bit loose.” He said as he sat down in front of you. You looked into his eyes that showed concern and looked back down at the poorly wrapped bandages.

“May I wrap them for you?” He asked kindly. You nodded as he gently grabbed your hand in his gloved ones. He undid the bandages and gently yet firmly wrapped them around your hands.

As he did this you couldn’t help but notice how focused he was, his eyes never left your hands until he was done as he looked up to you with a small smile. One of the biggest ones you’ve ever seen him give.

“Please, you need to be more careful in Dragonspine. I’m used to the cold so it does not affect me, You’re not.” He said bluntly. However, it wasn’t harsh you know it was just his way of showing he cared.

It warmed your heart knowing he cared enough to help you. He didn’t want you push you over the edge while you were healing so he helped you any way he could. He wasn’t overbearing but he was always there to help if you needed it.

When they get jealous

Beidou

Beidou is in no way subtle when shes jealous. She will go out of her way to make it known to you. If you’re talking to someone for to long when she wants to give you attention she’ll just give you while you’re talking.

Doesn’t matter what the conversation she’ll just walk over and lean on you. She’ll acknowledge the other person, especially if she knows them, but the majority of her attention is directed towards you. Her hands tend to wander, not to much, but just enough to slightly distract you from your conversation.

If she doesn’t want to interrupt you she’ll wait for you to finish your conversation, but she’ll make sure when you’re done to essentially just DUMP her attention all on you. She will quite literally sweep you off your feet, no matter your size or weight, she’s a strong pirate lady she can pick you up.

She likes to just swing you over her shoulder as she carries you away from the conversation making sure everyone knows that you are with her and only her.

Ningguang

Ningguang is a lot more subtle than Beidou. She may seem calm on the outside but she is far more enraged then she seems. However, she will not act on her anger directly, knowing that it would not benefit her in anyway to act in her emotions before processing them.

Although this doesn’t stop her from making snide remarks, more towards the person taking your attention than you.

She’s not proud of it but she does tend to have people listen in on your conversations if she’s worried, you aren’t yet aware of this seeing as she doesn’t do it often.

She is not an entirely touchy person, she more conveys her feelings through words. So when you two are finally alone, well as alone as you can be, she makes sure you know that she does love you. She knows you aren’t going to leave her anytime soon but the thought still tends to plague her mind every now and then.

You’re obviously very much aware of this, and reassure her quite often even if she replies with a simple “I know, love.” With a sweet smile.

How you two meet

-Diluc

The Tavern was not a place that you’d frequent, especially not alone. The only way you’d so much as step FOOT inside the area was if one of your two close friends forced you with them. Those two friends were the head of the Knights of Favonious and a local bard in Mondstadt.

Their names, Kaeya and Venti.

Both of them love going to the Tavern, and they LOVED dragging you along. Much to your dismay because you knew you’d be the one to deal with them in their drunken state afterwards anyways.

You sighed as you were currently being dragged into the oh so familiar tavern yet again by the long blue haired male. He laughed at your annoyed face as he went to order a drink and then wandered off.

You sat at the bar and ordered a juice. Your plan was just to sit there and do nothing till Kaeya was eventually to drunk to be allowed in the tavern any longer.

And sure enough, that’s exactly what eventually happened.

However this time had not played out the same way as every other time. At some point throughout the night you had to go to the bathroom and in that span of time, Kaeya had managed to start enough trouble to get a red headed man involved.

He looked familiar enough but you really couldn’t out your finger on his name.

You walked over to the situation as you tapped the red head on the shoulder lightly. He turned to you as he began dragging Kaeya.

“May I help you?” He asked, slightly annoyed be the certain situation.

“Well actually, I’m supposed to be in charge of him.” You said, pointing to the drunk man who was singing a song that Venti has often sung when he came to the Tavern.

“Oh, are you sure? He can be quite a handful when he’s like this.” The red headed man said as he continued to drag him towards the door.

“Well someone has to take him home, and usually that someone, is me.” You explained as the man looked at you with the slightest hint of surprise. You noticed his crimson eyes as he looked back down at the man.

“Well, I feel that now that I’m here I should at least help you.” He offered. You accepted as he turned the man to lean on his shoulder and had him wobble alongside him.

“Diluc no, I was having fun.” Kaeya lightly whined as we opened the door to the tavern and walked out.

“Diluc?” You questioned to yourself as the man looked over to you.

“This isn’t the introduction I would’ve liked to have but yes, My name is Diluc, Diluc Ragnvindr. It would’ve been a pleasure to meet you if it wasn’t for, him.” He said as he looked over to Kaeya who was practically passed out.

“I must apologize for not looking after him more, I was in the bathroom so I wasn’t focus-“ You began only to be cut off.

“Oh please, this is anything but your fault. My brother isn’t a child and should know that he won’t be treated as such.” He stated with an annoyed tone, you hoped it wasn’t direct towards you as he let out a sigh. “If anything, I should apologize. Knowing you have been in charge of this idiot seems very distressing.” He said as you snickered a bit.

“I’m also put in charge of famous bard as well.” You said in a joking manner as he looked over to you apologetically.

“It’s nothing I can’t handle, besides they’re pretty fun when they have no filters.” You said as you looked to the house in front and realized you had made your way to kaeyas place.

“I’ll put him inside so he can rest, would you like me to walk you home after?” He asked, looking back at you.

“Oh no, I wouldn’t want to cause anymore trouble for you-“ he began only to be interrupted yet again.

“Just wait here and I’ll be back out in a minute. There doesn’t need to be a possibility of you getting hurt if I can stop it.” He said as he disappeared inside the house. You smiled to yourself, thankful for the generous man.
