come back to us
I don't know when you sent this friend but I am back. I am currently sinking through the depths of my blogs to put stuff together but I am here.
P.s. I work more than I ever have in my life so we are working on that schedule these days.

"I will sacrifice... whatever it takes... to stop her."
I feel like we are forgetting his semblance, his hyperfocus, his PTSD.
I feel like we are forgetting how much he practically begged people to work with him.
I feel like we are forgetting how many secrets were kept from him, how many times he was lied to.
I feel like we are forgetting how he was desperately seeking connection when he hugged Qrow.
I feel like we aren't talking about the real life impact of trauma and PTSD and how it can change a person, like make a person completely lose their minds change. I hear folks say how badly the show is treating a war veteran and yeah it could be nice to help him have better support, like we wish all war vets in life were treated, but also I think CRWBY is doing a great job depicting the real impact and results of this kind of trauma. His trajectory makes sense and didn't come out of nowhere despite the fact that many of us wish it weren't so.
I feel like some folks (absolutely not all) who are anti Ironwood have had the benefit of not having to survive trauma. As a trauma survivor, I can relate to him just as much as I can to Qrow and I think its good to have that kind of expression here in this show.
We are forgetting this.
